I am from Delhi. My father is 63 years old. We have suffered through the wrong treatment. In July, he was diagnosed with a spot in the right lung called a pulmonary nodule. And we were relieved to know that it was benign. Since mid-December, he has started falling ill several times and even lost appetite. Then two weeks back we asked for some tests again. We did a PET scan and some other tests and found that it is malignant and cancer has now spread across both lungs. We are all shattered by this news. We are about to lose him with the wrong treatment. Please refer to the best lung cancer doctor who can deal with this situation. We are not in a condition to trust a doctor based on reviews. Please help us. Please.
It looks like it was misdiagnosed. So, suggest you visit an oncologist and take the treatment forward

Diffuse brain stem glioma is a rare cancer. It develops in the brain stem. Your daughter's symptoms - headaches, double vision, walking issues, speech troubles - are common. We don't know the exact cause, but it mostly affects children. Treatment may involve surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. You must consult an oncologist.

My wife's age is 41 years and she got operated on by laparoscopy on 21 February 2020 for stone in gallblader. However, histopathological report of the gallbladder which has been cut out shows Carcinoma grade 2. Please guide me for further treatment.
41 year old lady underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallbladder stones, post surgery if biopsy turned to be cancer, we need to evaluate and treat further. My question is what else treatment u had after diagnosis of cancer. Usually we do PET CT scan to know stage followed by radical cholecystectomy for gallbladder cancer. Frankly speaking gallbladder cancer per se has poor prognosis only

Hello Doctor, good evening. I am Lokesh, and I am taking care of my grandmother at home. She has stage 4 cervical cancer, and we are currently focusing on palliative care. Unfortunately, we do not have regular access to a nearby doctor or hospital, so I’m managing everything myself at home. I’m doing my best to support her with love, comfort, and the correct medicines. She has been experiencing: Pain (sometimes mild, sometimes strong) Lack of sleep or restlessness Occasional constipation and vomiting feeling I have some medicines like: Tramadol 50 mg Paracetamol 650 mg Lorazepam 1 mg Pan 40 Ondansetron 4 mg Lactulose syrup Based on her condition, I would like to know: 1. When and how to use Tramadol or Paracetamol for pain. Can they be used together? 2. Is Lorazepam safe to give daily? Should I reduce it slowly if I stop? 3. What are the risks if I stop Tramadol or Lorazepam suddenly? 4. Can I use Ondansetron only when vomiting starts? Or daily? 5. How often should I give Lactulose syrup if there’s no bowel movement? 6. Do you recommend any vitamins or supportive care for comfort or strength? 7. If she is calm and has no symptoms, can I skip some medicines? I want to provide her full comfort, dignity, and peace. Kindly guide me with the best possible medicine routine and precautions I should follow at home.

You can give Tramadol and Paracetamol together if the pain is intense, but it's good to space them out a bit. Paracetamol can be used every 4-6 hours, and Tramadol can be taken every 4-6 hours as needed. Lorazepam can be used daily for anxiety or restlessness. If you ever need to stop it, it's best to reduce the dose gradually to prevent any withdrawal symptoms. Suddenly stopping Tramadol or Lorazepam can cause withdrawal symptoms like increased pain, anxiety, or even seizures. So, it's safer to taper them off slowly. Ondansetron can be used as needed when vomiting starts. It's usually taken 30 minutes before meals that could trigger nausea. Lactulose syrup can be given every 8-12 hours if there's no bowel movement. Make sure she's drinking enough fluids to help it work better. A daily multivitamin can be beneficial for overall health and strength. It's good for supporting the body during this time. If your grandmother is comfortable and symptom-free, you can skip some medicines. But always consult with an oncologist before making any changes.

My mother is 70 years old had diagnosed with ovarian cancer involving both ovaries and peritoneal and omental metastasis What could be the treatment option ?
Female | 70
First, evaluate her general condition as well as her disease progression. According to her histopathological report and staging of the disease proper treatment plan has to be made. Starting with Chemotherapy as it affects the disease, further plans of action will be made. But the entire treatment plan will be made by an oncologist depending on her general condition to undergo the treatment.

Hi, my father was diagnosed with carcinoma right colon, features are suggestive of well-differentiated mucinous papillary adenocarcinoma of the colon with metastasis to the lymph node and treated with extended radical right hemicolectomy side to side ileocolic anastomosis done under GA one year back followed by chemotherapy. We need a second opinion as his blood report reveals a presence of 17.9 ng/mL of carcinoembryonic antigen. Can you please suggest me a good hospital in Bangalore with less cost? The previous doctor suggested a PET CT scan.
As per my understanding, your father is suffering from carcinoma of the right colon with metastasis to lymph node and treated surgically and chemotherapy. Once any cancer which has spread to the lymph nodes it means it is stage 3 where the prognosis is not so good. But still consult an oncologist. Hope our answer helps you.
