Questions & Answers on "Acidity Treatment" (1484)

Hi I am a 21 year old female who has been travelling in Europe for 1 months. I have been having diarrhoea for the past week on and off and have been taking anti diarrhoea tablets. These block me up and cause stomach cramps. What would you recommend? Thank you

Female | 21

From what you've been saying, the diagnosis could be you having traveler's diarrhea, a typical thing when exposed to new places. Anti-diarrhea pills can make things worse by stopping your body from getting rid of the bad stuff that causes stomach cramps. It is best to replenish your fluids by drinking clean water and consuming sports drinks or oral rehydration solutions that contain electrolytes. Stick to the basics, bland foods like rice, bananas, and toast for a while until things settle down. If your symptoms persist, consult your physician for medical advice.

YELLOW POOP may INDICATE celiac BUT other FACTORS also EXIST. Celiac symptoms RANGE from mild to severe and MAY include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, and WEIGHT LOSS...
