I did a lab test so I have staphylococcus aureus and I'm urinating alot. Please why is like that? I've taken my medication for long yet I'm still urinating frequently
Male | 23
A staphylococcus aureus bacterial infection could cause your frequent urination. Despite taking medication, an ineffective treatment may persist. You should contact a urologist. They'll prescribe appropriate antibiotics alleviating excessive peeing. Urinary tract infections demand prompt medical attention. Continued improper treatment risks complications.

Hi..doc..i need to know what causes penis some small pain..is not a sharp pain..is only last about a second...and it doesnt has this discharge..no burning pee..no swollen..everything seems normal..
Male | 52
The penis may feel hurt just for a second with none of those other things (like burning when you pee or discharge or swelling). This is called 'penile trauma' and it could mean that there was a little injury or annoyance to the penis. Giving some rest and not handling it roughly might help with this. If the pain doesn’t stop or get better, seeing a urologist can be good so they can check everything out.

Hello sir, I have genital herpes and would like to have sex with my wife using a condom. Does using a condom during sexual contact with my wife increase the risk of infection? Would you kindly assist me in responding?
Male | 44
Using a condom during sexual contact with your wife is a good step in reducing the risk of transmission of genital herpes, but it's not a foolproof method. Talk to a urologist for preventing the risk of spreading the virus to your partner.

A lump on the testicles can be due to various reasons, including infections, cysts, or, in rare cases, something more serious like cancer. It's important not to ignore it. Please visit a urologist, to evaluate and treat any concerns related to the testicles. Early consultation can help in getting the correct diagnosis and treatment.

Good evening, male, 47 y/o. For about 30 years I have been suffering from pelvic pain that arises ONLY a few hours after ejaculation. The pain originates precisely at the base of the scrotum and extends over hours to the entire scrotum and sometimes to the shaft of the penis. It arises as an itch, then a pinch, then grows in intensity until it becomes aching with a strong sense of heat accompanied by pronounced relaxation of the scrotum. Ice and (sometimes) supine position are the only things that provide temporary relief. I should add that prolonged abstinence has always given me discomfort and sensation of urinary urgency, which disappears with orgasm. Until two years ago the pain disappeared with sleep at night, so I only had regular sexual activity before going to sleep, and in this way I had a normal sex life and children. Then it began to occur EVEN THE NEXT DAY starting around noon and escalating into the evening, then (usually) disappearing the next morning. Over the years I have consulted several urologists. In 2001 the first transrectal ultrasound (all negative). Recent worsening of symptoms (i.e., their persistence even the next day) prompted me to confront other urologists, who were unable to help me. Prescribed spermioculture and Stamey test (all negative), prostate echo normal (some calcification). For the past two years I have been taking prostate supplements, anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxants, PEA etc without success. I tried acupuncture, ozone therapy, craniosacral osteopathy, TENS, pelvic floor physiotherapy (identified and treated contracted "triggers"), without success. A neurologist hypothesized muscular causes possibly related to a tempomandibular dislocation (hypothesis ruled out by maxillofacial surgeon) and prescribed Mutabon Mite 2 cpp/day which I took for three months, without success. A psychologist specializing in chronic pain has suggested nociplastic (psychogenic) pain and is helping me to manage the distress this problem causes me, but unfortunately not to reduce it as I had hoped. Thanks to her, however, I was able to accurately track the point of origin and course of the pain (so-called "somatic tracking"). On the advice of the GP I went in February to the Niguarda Hospital Pain Therapy where, with hypothesis pudendal neuropathy, I was prescribed pelvic MRI (resulted adductor enthesopathies), lumbosacral MRI (resulted disc dehydration, asymptomatic), pelvic EMG (no abnormalities), physiatric examination (no abnormalities). I have follow-up visit in September to evaluate nerve block, but in light of the negative EMG I don't know what they will say. In the meantime I have been prescribed Pregabalin 25+25 and then 50+50, which makes me sleep very well but has no effect on the disorder, so I will insist a little longer and then I think I will discontinue. I am very frustrated, I am asking if anyone reading me has any idea, if not of a treatment, at least of a diagnosis that I've never been given. Thank you.
Male | 47
The pain you experience in your penis and scrotum after ejaculation is understandably uncomfortable. You've consulted many doctors and tried various treatments, but the cause of your pain remains elusive. Your proactive approach to seeking help and trying different therapies is commendable. While doctors are considering possibilities such as pudendal neuropathy, a clear diagnosis has yet to be made. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a definite diagnosis or solution at this moment, but you must continue to follow up with your urologists.

These symptoms that you are experiencing give evidence of a possible urinary tract infection (UTI). For example, bacteria can get into the urinary tract, which may be a causative factor for UTIs. Therefore, the most important thing is to go to a urologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment using antibiotics if necessary.

I'm 22 years old male. I recently started noticing the pain around my penis or I should say around urinary bladder. Whenever I walk or I try to press their, it hurts. Please help me, is it a disease or normal pain? What are the causes and treatments.
Female | 22
You might have some pain in your lower abdomen around your bladder area. A urinary tract infection could be the cause. The symptoms are pain when urinating, a frequent need to pee, and cloudy urine. Drink lots of water for this. Additionally, it is necessary to visit a urologist for a full diagnosis and treatment, which may be antibiotics.

Sir I have testies varicose veins and epididymis how can I chre it help me
Male | 20
You may have a condition called varicocele when the veins in your testicles are enlarged like the varicose veins in your legs. This can cause a scrotum that is swollen or heavy to feel. The epididymis is a coiled tube located behind the testicle, and it can also become inflamed, leading to pain and swelling. Varicoceles and epididymitis don't usually lead to serious problems, but it's important to see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis. The doctor might recommend wearing supportive underwear, taking pain medication, applying ice packs, and sometimes surgery in severe cases.

Is nitrofurantoin a nitrate drug and is it safe to take with viagra?
Male | 32
Nitrofurantoin isn't nitrate medication; it fights bladder infections as an antibiotic. Viagra is sildenafil from a distinct drug group. It usually okay to take them together since they work differently. But always talk to a doctor or pharmacist before new medications to avoid possible interactions.

Hello, I have had a UTI since July. The symptoms have appeased but I still have frequent urination.
Female | 27
It's not normal to have UTI symptoms for so long.. CONSULT a doctor.. Frequent URINATION can indicate UTI or other conditions.. UTI symptoms include burning during URINATION or cloudy URINE. Untreated UTI can lead to kidney damage or SEPSIS. Drinking plenty of fluids helps flush bacteria out of your system.. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods that irritate the BLADDER.. Antibiotics are necessary to treat UTI.. Finish the entire course prescribed by your doctor..

Male | 25
It is worth noticing that blood in your sperm could show an indication of an infection, inflammation, or injury in your reproductive system. It is advised that you make an appointment with a urologist, who is an expert in the issue of diagnosing and treating conditions related to the male reproductive system. They can look into your problems and advice you the suitable treatment.

Sexually transmitted disease
Male | 23
The treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) depends on the specific infection and its severity. Different STDs are treated with medications such as antibiotics for bacterial infections (e.g., chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis) or antiviral drugs for viral infections (e.g., herpes, HIV). Some STDs, like HPV, may not have a cure, but treatments are available to manage symptoms and prevent complications.
I would recommend seeking advice personally from a professional preferably a gynecologist or urologist in your location.

I’ve been urinating frequently and having back pain for months now and I don’t perform well on bed like before
Male | 20
Frequent urination and back pain may indicate a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs occur when bacteria enter your bladder, resulting in discomfort, urgency, and potential sexual difficulties. Consuming significant water and seeking medical antibiotics proves highly beneficial. Delaying treatment risks exacerbating symptoms, so proactively address this health concern with a urologist.
