Polycystic Ovary Syndrome In Adolescence
She's overall great with her work and is quite experienced. She helped me understand and manage PCOS better, and was very open. I liked her initially so much so that I moved out of the country for university and was still taking tele appointments with her! Except, anytime I would bring up my pain, I was shut down. It was pretty much ignored or I kept hearing things like "oh it's probably because you eat frozen food all the time" (even though I was literally cooking on my own everyday from scratch), or "pain vain kuch nahi hota" (um, hello?! I spent so many days in bed due to pain) or "yeah yeah, we'll get to it when you want to have kids" (I'm sorry, what?!). I have now been diagnosed with endometriosis, with endometriomas on my pelvic wall, my ovary and bowels, and my ovary is fused to my uterus. Maybe if I was taken seriously and not ridiculed it wouldn't have gotten this far!
