Dr. Parikshit Tank is a very arrogant and careless gynecologist, we came across him during my wife's first delivery in his Ashwini hospital. We used to visit his clinic for a regular checkup routine. I recall one day, while my wife was just around 3 months pregnant, I asked him for his advice on what food she should start consuming, and he offered me a cold stare and didn't respond. Pathetic, isn't it? This is what I am thinking now, but that day I didn't say anything wondering maybe he is a doctor and if anything needed he will let us know. Actually, we were first-timers and had no idea what was right or wrong. Moreover, I was unable to decide at that point in time whether I should change the doctor or continue with him as we had heard good words about him from our relative who got positive IVF results and were blessed with a baby 2 years ago. However, our case was regular one and not IVF. Coming to the date of delivery, my young one was weighing 4.2 kgs and my wife was in labor pain for more than 16 hours. Despite this, the doctor decided to continue with the normal operation; due to this, my daughter lost a hair patch and skin on her head during the delivery. She was in immense pain and cried for several days post-delivery. To date, my daughter is not having hair near the top in a patch and it really haunts us. I feel terrible knowing that my daughter has to live with this her entire life. Hope my comments help others make a rational decision. I don't know if ever that doctor will understand how it feels when you don't treat your patients nicely.
