My newborn sons mom has a sti called mycoplasma and ureaplasma. I have Ben checked for all stds and this has been a ongoing issue for her where I'm accused of adultery because she has it. One doctor said a man can not transmit this to a woman. I just want a definitive answer and if so how can I be checked for this and treated.

Mycoplasma and ureaplasma which are classified as sexually transmitted infections necessitate concurrent treatment of the partners. Men also can transmit these infections to women, and the test for these infections can be done through a clean urine sample or swab. i have urinary frequency and sensation of incomplete bladder emptying. urine culture shows no infection. urine test shows no sugar but there is +1 haemoglobin. no blood in urine. ultrasound shows everything normal but there is urinary retention, about 20ml post void. i tried mirabegon and tamsulosin as recommended but they didn't work.

Your urinary difficulties se­em troubling. Tests reve­al no infection or sugar problems, which is positive. Slightly e­levated hemoglobin sugge­sts minor bleeding, but the lack of visible­ blood in urine is reassuring. Retaining 20ml urine­ after urinating can cause freque­nt urination and incomplete emptying se­nsations. Since medications like mirabe­gron and tamsulosin didn't help, consulting a urologist for further assessme­nt and treatment options would be wise­.
