astigmatism could be a factor in sleepiness while studying. Fatigue and sleepiness are often caused by the vision complications of astigmatism such as blurriness and distraction. It is vital to go to an optometrist or ophthalmologist for a professional eye examination and the proper correction of visual impairments via prescription glasses or contact lenses.

I'm suffering from fever and I have huge pain in my eyes
Female | 20
It seems you have pink eye, a type of eye infection. Your eyes hurt and have a fever. This sickness happens when germs infect the white part of your eyes. Germs like bacteria or viruses cause it. Warm towels on your eyes and keeping them clean helps. Don't touch your eyes too much. See an eye doctor if it doesn't get better.

I have eye problems like retina detached anything to do about it there? Because I want to travel
Male | 56
Are you seeing floaters, flashes, or a curtain across your vision? This may mean retinal detachment, where the retina separates from the eye. Aging and injuries can cause detachment, which harms sight if untreated. Surgery reattaches the retina, preventing permanent blindness. Visit an eye specialist.

Optic atrophy due to be retinitis pigmentosa
As per my understanding, you want to know whether retinitis pigmentosa can lead to optic atrophy. Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is rare degenerative disease affecting the rod photoreceptors in the retina. The optic disc in RP may show optic atrophy, usually defined as a 'waxy pallor' of the disc, and is assumed to be a due of photoreceptor degeneration. Consult an ophthalmologist to rule out the cause in your case and to also guide you for further course of management. You can refer - Best Ophthalmologists in India, to sought consultation!

Findings: Right Eye: Vision: 6/12P Diagnosis: Myopia, macular degeneration, tesselated fundus Treatment: Eyedrops for constant use Left Eye: Vision: CF1Mtr. Diagnosis: Degenerative myopia with choroidal neovascularization Recommended: Anti-VEGF injection Question: Should you proceed with the injection or explore other options? and what is condation of right eye??
Female | 43
In your left eye, there is degenerative myopia with choroidal neovascularization, which has caused your vision to decline. In this condition, new blood vessels are growing in the wrong place. The best treatment option right now is an anti-VEGF injection, which can prevent these vessels from causing further damage to your eye. Meanwhile, your right eye has myopia, macular degeneration, and a tessellated fundus. Although your eyesight is not clear, regular use of eye drops can help control the situation to some extent.

I am a 34 year old woman and have been having recurrent episodes of conjunctivitis
Female | 34
Recurrent episodes of conjunctivitis can be quite bothersome. Common symptoms include redness, itching, and discharge from the eyes. This condition can be caused by allergies, infections, or irritants. To manage symptoms effectively, avoid touching your eyes, wash your hands frequently, and consider using cold compresses for comfort. Over-the-counter antihistamines may help if allergies are the cause. It's important to consult an ophthalmologist for a thorough examination and tailored treatment options.

Male | 19
There have been a lot of changes in your eyes over the past few years. Being nearsighted is having a power of -4, which can occur when the eyeball is too long. When trying to see things that are far away, this may lead to cloudy vision. If you’re wondering if it’s right for you at this moment, consult an eye surgeon about LASIK surgery. Before deciding on anything, they must perform a thorough examination of your eyes so they know what’s changed.

Swelling in front of the eye can occur due to various reasons, including injury, inflammation, or sometimes an infection. You may experience pain, difficulty in moving, or warmth in that area. It's essential to rest the affected eye, use ice to reduce swelling. Over-the-counter pain relief can help manage discomfort. However, if the swelling persists, worsens, or is accompanied by severe pain, it’s advisable to consult a ophthalmologist for a thorough evaluation.

my left eyelid twitches. Both of my eyes are so crusty that all eyelids are covered with a white, dry film like fine table salt (I have been suffering from dry eyes since 2011). I have been suffering from twitching eyes, namely the left eyelid, for almost 3 weeks. Do you recommend a specific ointment? I was about to order this (Terramycin Eye Ointment 3.5 g)
Male | 31
That crusty film on your eyelids could result from dry eye syndrome, leading to the twitch. Terramycin Eye Ointment might help with dryness and irritation, but double-check with your eye doctor before using new meds. Try a warm washcloth compress on your eyes and some OTC artificial tears for relief.

Female | 37
Redness in your right eye, along with a headache, can result from various factors such as eye strain, allergies, or mild infections. Your blood pressure reading of 80/132 indicates slightly elevated diastolic pressure, which is generally considered acceptable, though this can vary depending on individual health. It’s essential to rest your eyes, stay hydrated, and apply a cool compress if needed. For persistent symptoms or discomfort, please consult a healthcare professional for a personalized evaluation. They can provide more detailed insights and treatment options tailored to your situation.
