Psoriasis is a type of skin disorder that lasts for a long time. It is typically marked by red, dry patches which may itch and hurt. It has to do with an immune response that is too active, hence, the cells in the skin multiply much faster than they should. Even if there is no actual solution for it, there are methods that help keep the symptoms under control and manage them. Some of the available drugs for the treatment include ointments, phototherapy, and drugs that work throughout the body. Besides the drugs, lifestyle changes like a good diet and stress control are beneficial as well. I advise you to find a dermatologist who can assist you in developing a personalized plan through the evaluation of your needs.

I am 25 year old women. My hairfall was extreme from april and i can see a lot of hairs on my pillow floors and they were so fragile and now it has reduced but my scalp is visible under light. I had pcos and in january i had passed a large blood clot with sever pain in palvis but now my periods are also normal. I had extreme emotional stress as my mother was severly ill. I am concerned about my hair my hairline is intact but top and crown area is affected and diffuse thinning is there

Hair loss can be caused by stress, hormonal imbalances, or health issues like PCOS. In your case, the shedding might be related to these factors. The good news is that it should improve as your menstrual cycle regulates. Eating well, managing stress, and self-care will help your hair grow back stronger.

Can I take acetaminophen( allergies) and melatonin together or wait?

Female | 27

Taking acetaminophen and melatonin is usually not a problem. It gets rid of headache and also fever. This way you will avoid being affected by the injury for long since it will quicken your sleep. Even so, you should take the right amount of each medicine. If you have any worries or strange feelings it is best to talk to your doctor or pharmacist first.

Good day sir , my wife is feeling pain since one week now where they injected her , the spot is hot and little strong, and it's paining her serious ,I have use ice block and close up , but the spot is still hot and little stronger

Female | 20

Your wife is likely to have an infection at the injection site. The symptoms such as heat, pain, and redness are caused when the bacteria get in. The area needs to be cleaned gently and the healthcare provider must be consulted. Antibiotics may be recommended to eliminate the infection. Do not use ice or cover it up without advice as it may aggravate the problem.

I got the cut from the barber trimmer is it the chance of getting hiv virus from that trimmer ?

Male | 21

You are very unlikely to get HIV from a barber trimmer. HIV is not spread by inanimate objects like trimmers but through fluids that carry the virus, such as blood. Look for symptoms such as fever or maybe pimples but always keep in mind the probability of this happening is extremely low.

Face problem sir please Mera skin bahut kharab hai

Male | 16

It's important to see a dermatologist. Skin type sensitive or oily? Acne or rosacea? These details are required for treatment. Avoid harsh products and over-washing. Use gentle cleansers and moisturizers. Sunscreen is a must. Avoid touching face. Treat underlying health issues. Eat healthy, stay hydrated.
