Stubborn dandruff may be caused by a fungus on your scalp that causes the skin cells to accumulate and become flaky. Scratching too much could also be the cause of a sore head. Use a medicated shampoo that treats the fungus and calms your scalp; additionally, wash your hair gently and frequently.

In my back acne and itching

Male | 32

Back acne occurs when hair follicles become blocked with oil and dead skin cells, leading to bumps on the skin. This condition can be worsened by sweating or wearing tight clothes. The itchiness is often due to irritation caused by the acne. To manage back acne, try using a mild cleanser and avoid wearing tight clothing. Use oil-free lotions and refrain from scratching your skin, this can worsen the condition.

Hello Doctor, Myself Anjali. I am 25.5 yrs old. I am having severe itching in my private part whenever i go outside in sun.

Female | Anjali

It seems you are facing a heat rash which is a common condition. Your skin gets too hot due to the sun and it can make your skin red, itchy, and throbbing. After a time, you should avoid wearing clothes that are too tight. Make sure to wear cool, loose-fitting clothes. Moreover, always keep below clean and dry when there is a chance of heat rash. Calamine lotion can also be a good option to use to relieve the burning skin. Drinking enough water is important.

A couple days ago i noticed a large lump underneath one of my armpits. a few weeks prior my armpit had been feeling very sore and painful but i just recently looked and saw a large lump and there was some sort of discharge leaking from it.. a few days later it’s gotten somewhat smaller but now there is a nasty raw scab growing around it and it hurts and itches. also the center of the lump is red and sticking outward and looks like it’s bleeding.

This could be a clue to some infection. See a dermatologist immediately for an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment. Immediate medical treatment is vital in such situations.

My son is 4.5 years and is having skin rashes since 1 year, in his knee, back, lower stomach and underarms. We have consulted skin specialist and applied futibact, tacroz and neoaporin ointments, but once we stop futibact the rashes return after a week and increase

Male | 4

The boy seems to have atopic dermatitis also called as atopic eczema. The care is utmost important in his case as the skin is dry and prone to rashes as well as infection. steps should be taken to keep his skin moist at all times. Start by oiling him before bath, use mild cleansers, and apply moisturizers immediately after bath so as to retain water and seal it inside his skin. The flutibact is for immediate reduction of rashes. Start using tacrolimus cream once a week to prevent further rashes. The flutibact is a steroid and antibiotic combination cream, and therefore has to be used judiciously. Please meet a pediatric dermatologist for more information regarding this problem
