3 years old child with delay closure anterior fontanel and pigeon chest
Female | 3
A three-year-old friend of yours happens to sport an open part in her skull and sticks out a bit in front. The open space is known as the anterior fontanelle and should have closed by now. A pigeon chest could cause difficulties in breathing. These problems may be because of muscle weakness or bone problems. It is important to seek medical advice for proper assessment and advice on the most effective treatment plan.

My daughter is 2 years old. she has cough and cold amd mild fever and i give her allegra and cherry cough both 3.5 ml and 2.5ml and mow I realise these both for cough and cold then i am worried now what to do
Female | 2
Cough, cold, and mild fever can be uncomfortable, especially for children. The common cold and flu are two main causes of cough and cold in kids. Both Allegra and cherry cough syrup can help treat these symptoms. However, it’s best to give only one medication that addresses the needed symptoms, which reduces the amount of medicine given to the child. Make sure she gets plenty of rest, drinks lots of fluids, and consider using a humidifier in her room to help relieve congestion. If her temperature doesn’t go down or if she seems to be in pain, it’s better to consult a pediatrician for proper advice.

Male | 0
A cough lasting 4 days calls for attention. Pneumonia is possible, especially with breathing issues, chest pains, or high fever. This lung infection stems from bacteria, viruses, or fungi. Seek medical care for proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Antibiotics may be prescribed if pneumonia is confirmed.

It's good that your daughter is responsive and speaks some words. However, not sitting properly or stiffening her legs could indicate developmental issues. I recommend visiting a pediatric neurologist for a thorough evaluation and guidance on appropriate interventions.

My 10 month old daughter poops after every feed..wether I give her milk or banana or cerelac...she poops after eating or drinking anything...pls suggest something
Female | 10 month old
It's usual for newborns to poop after eating, yet a consistent movement with a loose or watery content could indicate a sensitive stomach. The probable cause of this might be a certain food in its diet that is not serving well to her. Your food diary can point you in the right direction by showing you the link between her reaction to food and food consumption. It will be worthwhile to discuss this with a pediatrician, who will reassure you about its healthiness and help you figure out ways to get rid of it if there is any malaise. Make sure your child gets enough fluids and give her foods that are easy on the stomach, such as rice and bananas.

Hello , My baby is 2 and a half month now. Our pediatrician recommended me to give formula milk for 2 days saying that due to breastfeeding my baby is getting gas. Should I give him formula. From another BEMS doctor always suggest me only breast milk should be given to baby.
Male | 2.5 months
Gas is a common occurrence in babies and can make them quite irritable. When eating, they may swallow air or break down certain nutrients found in breast milk, causing it. To release trapped air more frequently during feeding, try burping your baby often. Additionally, tender tummy massages could also provide relief from gas. If you can, stick with breastfeeding since it’s the best for your baby’s well-being; however, you might want to consider speaking to a pediatrician for further advice.

It's important to get this checked by a pediatric endocrinologist as early breast development in an 8-year-old could be a sign of precocious puberty. Please consult with a specialist to understand the cause and appropriate treatment if needed.

My 11 year old girl is getting cramps on her middle finger atlist three times in a month and i have notice all her fingers is turning dark in color
Female | 11
The middle finger cramps and the darkening of all fingers sound uncomfortable. The reason is there may not be enough blood flow in the fingers. One common cause is Raynaud's disease, which is a disorder that affects blood flow. If the issue gets worse, talk to an orthopedist.

My daughter who is 20 months old hasnt pooped in the last 6 days...but doesnt show any sign of discomforts...Im trying to give her more liquid foods and she has her food also properly...what are the steps i need to take to make sure she poops..what are foods i need to include for her
Female | 1
Don't stress if your 20-month-old hasn't pooped for 6 days but seems okay. Constipation is normal for kids. You're right to offer more liquids. Water, prune juice, pears are good options. Whole grains, veggies, beans may also assist. Keep her active. If she still doesn't poop after trying these, it's wise to see a pediatrician.

I have 15 months baby can I use spasan Noel tablet
Female | 22
Giving a 15-month-old baby Spasmonel tablets is dangerous. These pills are not for babies and might bring harm to them. In the case that your baby is having stomach issues or is feeling some kind of discomfort, it's better to use some mild tools such as holding him/her tenderly, giving water, or attempting a warm bath. Get advice from a pediatrician if symptoms do not improve or get worse.

Hi , I just found out that my daughter has swelling on her right side of head, is it normal? She's been born on 7 dec 9 days ago, she came to the world by normal delivery. Her swelling is soft and not painful when touching, its size is almost 1 inch approx , her feeding is good, and she doesn't have any coughing or fever . She has jaundice with yellow eyes. I am so worried let me know please.
Female | 9 days
The swelling, in newborns, can sometimes be normal, particularly when it is not very thick and does not cause any discomfort. This could be because the baby is not lying in the best position or that they have a small fluid collection. On the other hand, jaundice is very common in babies, which means that babies should be observed all the time. I suggest you discuss the matter with your child's pediatrician and get a full examination to exclude any possible health concerns and get specialized advice.
