Is my recent change in lifestyle affecting my high blood pressure?
Good evening sir, I am a 48 years old suffering from high bp measuring around 150-158/90-98. I was a moderste smoker and frequently used to drink. Now I left smoking 5 months back and involved in physical activity around 4 -5 km running. I do not feel weakness but have heavy head..kindly suggest...

If you are feeling heavy-headed along with having high blood pressure, there could be many factors causing this such as lifestyle choices or being under too much stress. Don't forget about keeping up with the exercise regimen that has helped make these improvements and try not smoking again. Also, pay attention to what you eat–a well-rounded diet low in salt but high in nutrients is key here (and less alcohol wouldn't hurt either). Make sure to keep checking your BP numbers frequently and maybe even talk them over with a doctor if necessary.
