The treatment will depend on:

  1. the symptoms she's showing.
  2. the kind of organs that are affected.

Show her to a physician, they will assess reports, conduct tests and then direct towards the right specialist, which could possibly be a nephrologist or endocrinologist. You can refer our page to find doctors - General Physicians in India.

I am a diabetic patient. I am feeling very sleepy and hungry. I am feeling weak. Is my sugar level increasing or decreasing?

Male | 46

When blood sugar levels sink, the body reacts by asking for energy and makes you feel tired, hungry, and weak. As a remedy, you can have a snack that contains carbohydrates, such as fruit or whole-grain crackers. Your sugar level will increase and you will be in a better mood. Diabetes management and regular eating are preventive measures against the occurrence of this problem in the future.

Female | 13

A 13-year-old may still have some growing to do. The growth spurt during puberty is different for everyone. Most girls stop growing taller between 14 and 16 years old. However, it is true that a few factors that can affect a person's height are genetics and nutrition. Environmental factors (nutrition) and genetic endowments are the ways to ensure her growth. If you want her to grow, make sure she's getting a sufficient diet and moving a lot.

I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease with TSH level almost zero in August 2023. I was prescribed Methimez 15 mg initially, which was gradually reduced to 2.5mg daily. My TSH level is currently 7.9, FT4=0.82, FT3=2.9. Should I still be taking daily methimez 2.5mg or should I fully stop it/reduce it less than 2.5mg daily since TSH level is currently 7.9. History of medical conditions: I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease in August 2023 with TSH level touching zero. Current medication details: I was prescribed Methimez 15mg daily which was gradually reduced and is currently prescribed at 2.5mg on a daily basis. History of medication for the same complaint: None

Male | 41

Graves' Disease affects thyroid function. Your recent TSH test result at 7.9 shows an imbalance. To regulate hormone levels, continue taking Methimazole 2.5mg daily as prescribed. Stopping this medicine on your own risks causing uncontrolled symptoms. These may include rapid heartbeat, weight fluctuations, and fatigue. If you have any worries or questions, be sure to discuss them with your doctor.

I am 36 years old. I have TSH level of 3.6 microIU/mL. What should be the dose of my medicine. Currently I was prescribed with 50mcg.

Female | 36

If your TSH level tests positive with a figure of 3.6 microIU/mL, this is within limits but slightly on the higher side. Higher than normal TSH levels often come with symptoms like fatigue, unexplained weight gain, and feeling cold when others are warm. In case you are experiencing any of these symptoms, alongside the fact that 50mcg is your current dose, it means that you may need to adjust it depending on what your body demands. You must always consult your doctor when there is a need to do so.

I have done hormonal test and in that test it was revealed that I have high estrogen and high prolactin the reason for doing the is because I have brain fog and I think it could be hormonal is there any treatment without causing impotence

Male | 25

Elevated estrogen and prolactin sometimes cause brain fog symptoms. Reasons like stress, medicines, or conditions can make these hormones imbalanced. Managing may involve lifestyle changes, diet adjustments, or medications helping balance hormones without causing impotence, your doctor may suggest. Remember discussing all concerns with your doctor.

My mother is suffering from thyroid ,she had a mild stroke before some days now she is in bed .A physiotherapy is done every day at home.but she is very weak.we have done her thyroid test this is here T3-111.5 T4-9.02 TSH-7.110. Please let me know the exact power of her medicine.

Female | 68

It appears to me that she suffers from hypothyroidism because of a lack of energy amongst other symptoms. A high TSH means that the thyroid is not producing enough hormones. Possibly, she may have to adjust the dosage of her thyroid medication to correspond with these levels. Please ensure that she adheres to taking her drugs regularly as well as continuing physiotherapy for all-round healing.

My hba1c is 11.3 and ppbs is328.5 and fbs is 261.6

Male | 32

Having a high HbA1c value of 11.3 means your body struggles with sugar management. Additionally, blood sugar readings of 328.5 after meals and 261.6 when fasting indicate the same issue. You may experience increased thirst, frequent urination, and fatigue as symptoms. This condition could be diabetes. To improve, make dietary changes, exercise regularly, and consider medication prescribed by a doctor for better blood sugar control.

I have symptoms of vitamin d deficiency and got tested please can u prescribe medicine

Female | 50

Experiencing low vitamin D levels may lead to symptoms such as bone pain if proper daily food consumption and sun exposure are not met. A person may suffer from vitamin D deficiency due to insufficient exposure to sunlight and lack of vitamin D-enriched foods. The main causes are for instance unusual fatigue, bone pain, muscle weakness, and frequent sickening episodes. A good way to reinforce your vitamin D levels. Surely, vitamin D consists of supplements helping, for example, outdoor exercise for some time each day. The vitamin D in even more foods such as fish and egg yolks can help too.

I think I have thyroid or PCOS i feel too much nervous, I have anxiety, I'm depressed, I loose so much hair also , feel so much fatigue, even after 8 or more hours of sleep I feel tired, I am always overwhelmed and cry at small things

Female | 18

It seems you may have symptoms of thyroid problems or PCOS. Both can make you feel stressed, sad, lose hair, tired, and overwhelmed. Thyroid issues happen when the thyroid does not work right and impacts hormones. PCOS affects female hormones and may cause similar signs. You should see a doctor to get tests done and proper care. They can help figure out what is causing these feelings.
