This can happen for reasons such as infection, or the fact that you have an allergy. A swelling on both sides can be a realization of a systemic issue. To reduce the swelling, you can try a cold compress and head elevation. Drinking water and not eating salty foods can also be ways to better the condition. It's crucial to make an appointment with a dermatologist for the right diagnosis and cure.

Hello doctor I am sangeetha .I have hairfall .I have losing 70 hairs per day it is normal or not?
Female | 27
Losing some hair daily isn't unusual. Around 50-100 strands lost is normal. However, excess hair fall can occur due to various reasons. Stress, poor diet, hormone changes, and genetic factors contribute to increased shedding. If hair loss seems excessive or causes concern, consider consulting a dermatologist for guidance.

It seems like you have a case of redness on the head of your penis which neuroses. But on a bright note, your tests for HIV, HCV, VDRL, and RPR were all negative which is a good thing. i am 20 female and i am experiencing symptoms that can be caused by an allergic reaction
Female | 20
You might be having an allergic reaction. The immune system's hypersensitivity is one of the major causes of allergic reactions and it can go as far as responding to something harmless, e.g., some foods, dust, and pollen. The most common symptoms are sneezing, itching, hives, swelling, or trouble breathing. To help with this, look for the exact substance you were in contact with and try to refuse it. Visit a dermatologist if the condition does not improve.

Hi, I'm 21 years old, for the past few years I've been experiencing skin irritations, now i have a lot of dark spots on my body and face, I don't know how to overcome this problem
Male | 21
You might be dealing with pesky skin irritations and annoying dark spots. Itching, redness, or lumps can eventually cause spots to form on your skin. This can happen due to sun exposure, acne breakouts, or certain skin conditions. Don’t worry too much because there are ways to address this issue. Use mild soap when washing, always wear sunscreen, and consult a dermatologist for advice. They might prescribe creams to help fade the marks and improve your skin condition.

I was having balanitis one year back and got treated but later that year me and my girlfriend both got diagnosed with HPV. Now I am is getting cracked foreskin. Due to that it's getting pain whenever gets stretched. Also the skin around the anal area is loosing and looks pinkish without pain.
Male | 28
According to your symptoms, a fungal infection or an irritation might be the reason behind it. The cracked foreskin could result from either the infection or the dryness. The pinkish skin around the anal area might be related. Hygiene is the first thing that must be done to make this area stay clean and dry. Antifungal cream or simple moisturizer may be required. Keep away from strong soaps and wear loose clothes. Drink plenty of liquids and eat a balanced diet to aid the natural healing process.

Hi, I had sclerotherapy done on Wednesday last week. My veins look a lot worse, they as re purple and more visible, there is no brusing and they are also quite sore to the touch/I can feel tiredness in my legs. My doctor said I may have had an allergic reaction to the therapy because I am on holiday in a hot country (Brazil) and prescribed me an antihistamine. Will the veins eventually fade or will I need more treatment?
Female | 28
Bruising and discomfort after sclerotherapy are natural which normally resolves within a few days. But since you said your veins look worse and are more visible after the procedure could indicate a complication. It's good that you have already spoken with your doctor, but still experiencing discomfort or have any concerns, follow up with them promptly.
In some cases the veins may fade on their own over time, but if the issue is related to the sclerotherapy procedure, additional treatment can be needed. Its best to follow up with your doctor to discuss your options and determine the best treatment.

Im 32 yeard old male, im having a mild pain in my private part surrounding area which i can say lower lower abdomen area, i had a mild fever 2 days back. Also noticed a swallow in my private part top skin
Male | 32
The mild pain and fever may also be related to an infection. The swelling on the skin is a sign that the skin is inflamed. This type of infection may be the result of bacteria or viruses. To get rid of this, you might have to use antibiotics that are prescribed by a dermatologist. Cleanliness and dryness of the area will facilitate quick healing of the injury.

I'm 24 years old . Last year onwards I'm getting bad acne and Breakout from the Cetaphil cleanser and most of the products are breaking me out. I'm having open pores and comedones , dark spots of past acne and every day new emergence of postules with white tip.
Female | 24
The complaints you're listing - acne reasons such as open pores, comedones, dark spots, and white-tipped pimples - represent the first stages of acne. Specific medications or personal care items that you use can worsen acne. You can improve your skin using mild, non-comedogenic cleansers and oil-free moisturizers. Steer clear of products that contribute to the blockage and irritation of the skin. If the acne does not improve, a dermatologist would be the best person to talk to for more recommendations.

Male | 20
You might have a skin condition called eczema, which can cause small watery bumps, itching, and some redness. Standard treatments don't always work for everyone. To relieve symptoms, use a mild moisturizer regularly, avoid strong soaps, and wear loose, natural-fiber clothing. If the problem continues, consider consulting a dermatologist for further advice and treatment.

The red and circular patches that have spread all over your body might be ringworm. This is a fungal infection that requires specific antifungal drugs like Terbinafine or Clotrimazole in many cases. The affected areas should be kept tidy and dry; loose clothes may also be worn.

Jock itch is the fungal infection which is the most common cause of the groin itching and redness. Since you've gone through surgery for hydronephrosis, you must keep the area well-hygienic and dry to treat jock itch. Using regular antifungal creams you can purchase without a prescription. Male | 18
When your eyes look sunken, it can be caused by dehydration, lack of sleep, or poor nutrition. Have a drinking water boost, sleep well, and consume healthy foods like fruits and vegetables. Don't eat salty foods that will make your body save water. If the problem persists, it's good to go to a dermatologist for more advice.

I have a thin hair it cause more hair loss what I do
Female | 21
It is a common thing to be worried about baldness. Minimum amounts of hair may be a symptom of it. The main causes are genetic and some health problems. Symptoms include more hair left on brushes or in the shower to the extent of brushing. Along with these, eat a balanced diet, treat your hair with care, and stress management to help. Also, treatments such as minoxidil can be beneficial.

Hi doctor, I'm experiencing skin redness and severe itching. and it's really uncomfortable. Please let me know about regarding the cause and medications if any thanks
Male | 25
You’re dealing with a skin problem known as eczema. Eczema can make the skin red and extremely itchy because it’s inflamed. You should use mild skin care products regularly and moisturize often to help yourself. If you need relief, try using some over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream. Don’t scratch or it will get worse. In case these signs don’t go away or become worse, see a dermatologist for more help.

Good day doctor. My 3 months old baby had itchy blister-like rashes on her feet and other parts of her body. Ive been using triple action cream(anti-inflammatory,fungi and bacteria) it will dry up and new ones will erupt. Dome rashes look ringworm
Female | 3 months
Your little one may have eczema. This condition causes itchy rashes that look like blisters on the skin. It is often caused by dryness; however, there could also be other triggers such as irritants in soaps used during bathing the baby among others. Use mild soap when bathing them and moisturize their skin more often than usual. To relieve itching, wrap them lightly in clothes made from light fabrics like cotton. If these signs persist after considering these measures then don’t hesitate to seek help from a pediatrician.

Sir/mam I had itchy red bumps on scrotum and buttocks and thighs. Previously I had scabies then doctor prescribed scabest lotion then for a 1 month I was totally fine but after that i had bumps on scrotum, buttocks and thighs without fluid(pus) in them. they are really discomfort. Please tell me what should I do now. Thanks ❤
Male | 20
It sounds like you may be experiencing a recurrence of scabies, or it could be another skin condition. I advise you to see a dermatologist or a specialist in sexually transmitted infections (STIs) to get a proper diagnosis. They may recommend a different medication or treatment plan based on the underlying cause of your symptoms.
