Do I Have Melanoma? Large Mole Change Concerns
I am 17 years old. I don't know if I have melanoma or not. I have quite a large mole(1-2cm). It have a lot pf brown spots on a light background, the border of which is irregular. I have had it for 5 to 6 years, without any change. Now I cannot remember what it looked like, and I feel like it changed a little. I don't know what to do.

Red flags for moles include changes in size, shape, or color, as well as itching or bleeding. If you notice any of these signs, it's important to see a dermatologist right away.

i’m a 23 year old male and i’ve been suffering with itchy red bumps on my stomach for a while now. it started the day after i returned from my thailand trip on 24th august 2024. i immediately went to a dermatologist as i was afraid if it’s any STI but my dermatologist assured me and suggested me Clobetasol Cream IP 0.05% and told me it would be fine. i used it for a couple days and the red bumps on my stomach were gone for a few days but it started itching again and they were back after a few days. whenever i use that cream the red bumps would go away and when i don’t they pop out again.
Male | 23
Eczema can cause itchy red bumps on the skin that come and go often. The Clobetasol Cream which your dermatologist recommended can relieve the suffering by reducing redness and itching but it is not a permanent solution. For the best management of eczema, you need to keep your skin moisturized, avert irritants such as severe soaps or rough materials, and stick to a mild skincare regimen. If the symptoms do not go away, it is better to see your dermatologist again for more advice.

I am not sure about the well being of her immune system casue she has rhuematiod arthritis . Please help i am in tears.
Female | 50
HPV, especially type 45, is primarily spread through direct skin-to-skin contact, mainly sexual. The chance of transmission through shared clothing is low. However, considering your mother's health condition and her rheumatoid arthritis, it’s good to be cautious. Encourage her to see a gynecologist for proper advice and peace of mind.

Something under armpit not fully swelling aur lump but feel hollow swelling
Female | 32
A mild bump at one of the armpits can also result from the failure of a lymph node to swell. It may also be due to either of the following: a cyst or an abscess. You should visit a qualified medical specialist, like a general practitioner or a dermatologist, to find the underlying reasons and make the right treatment.

I am 21 can i eligible for hair transplant?
Male | 21
One of the factors that influence eligibility for a hair transplant includes age. Although there is no strict age limit, the stability of your hair loss pattern should be considered. Typically, hair transplants will be recommended for individuals whose menu of baldness is stabilizing around their late 20’s or older; this gives them a better sense about what the future patterns would look like. Furthermore, overall health, availability of donor hairs and rational expectations surrender to a decision on eligibility.

I am 20years old I just started going through gental wart and I already start using drug and cream but I notice serious burning or painful side effect on my virginal so what onniment or drug can I used to reduce or eliminate the pain
Female | 20
The burning or pain you might be feeling is from the drugs you are using. To relieve the discomfort, you can use a mild soothing cream such as Vaseline or aloe vera gel which will help to ease the irritation and give some relief. Ensure that the region is kept dry and clean to quicken the healing process.

I have noticed white patch on my face near upper lips can u pls suggest solution
Female | 20
Vitiligo is a medical issue leading to pale spots on skin areas. It happens when your body attacks its own cells. Or vitiligo may stem from inherited genes. There's no permanent fix, but creams and light treatment can help blend skin tones better. Sun protection is key to stop color changes. You can also visit a dermatologist for treatment.

Hi I have this soft lump on my right sculpar medial soft to touch and sore aching on the top of the soft lump I’m worried what it might me it’s 6cm x1.5 I’m in aching pain all day long at the same location deep inside like a tight knot feeling Can’t sit up for long I’m so worried it could be something very serious
Female | 36
The lymph node could be swollen due to one of your scalp cases or the infection in another part of your body. The sore and aching feeling you are experiencing is because your lymph node is fighting against the infection. Warm compresses and over-the-counter medications or painkillers might help for now. In case it does not get better, it is advisable to visit a dermatologist.

i am 16 years old and having pain in my nose hump for a week and slowly getting harsh. i have discomfort with my nose and feels like a growth in my nose bones and mainly feels moree curvature in my hump day by day. i also have discomfort with my too much droopy tip and my too much crooked nasal bridge
Female | 16
You seem troubled by your nose's condition. A bump might cause nasal pain and growth sensation, making the tip droop, and the bridge appear crooked. Such changes can occur during development. Consulting a dermatologist would clarify the issue and find solutions for your discomfort.

Actually I switched shampoo so I'm facing alot of hairfall I stopped using that shampoo but still there's no difference please help me with this
Female | 22
Different factors like allergies or harsh ingredients might cause hair loss. Your scalp needs time to recover. For now, switch back to your old shampoo. Use a gentle conditioner too. Natural oils like coconut or almond can nourish hair and scalp. Be gentle when brushing or styling to avoid damage. If hair keeps falling out for weeks, consult a dermatologist.

I have green at top of my nail and redness I put sudocream on it to see if it helps as I have no other cream atm will it help I’ve put plater on it as well
Female | 18
Your fingernail infection is likely. The bacteria may be causing the green hue. The inflammation can result in swelling and pain. Sudocream may not be effective in treating the infection. Use a plaster to cover the spot for protection. Gently wash the area with warm water, apply antibiotic ointment, and cover it up. If things get worse, see a dermatologist.

What causes one side of your face to swell
Female | 33
A swollen area on one side of your face signals a problem. You could have hurt that side by being hit. An infection like tooth decay may cause it. Face swelling also happens with allergies. To ease the swelling, put a cold pack on it. Take over-the-counter pain medicine. If the swelling doesn't go away, see a dermatologist. They'll find out what's wrong. The right treatment can fix it.

I'm a 19 year old female and i have noticed a growth on my urethra (or around it, im not sure). I first noticed it around 8-10 months ago and it was pink tissue and had a regular surface so i thought it was part of my urethra and that tiny part is falling off so i did not care much bout it. I've been having some discomfort since yesterday and I just noticed its become black now and attached to my urethra with a thin tissue (thats how it was when i first noticed as well). I do not know if its normal or if its something to be concerned bout.
Female | 19
You should know that discolored and rough areas of the skin down there can mean different things. Various causes could explain your situation, for example, a possible infection or a tumor has been mentioned. Pain or discomfort is a common symptom among these cases. My advice is to visit a dermatologist to get a correct diagnosis and the appropriate course of action.

Female | 19
The lotion possibly irritated your skin further. Here's how to ease the discomfort: Stop using the lotion immediately. Gently wash affected areas with mild soap and water. Apply an unscented, gentle moisturizer to hydrate and soothe irritated skin. Be vigilant about avoiding known allergens going forward.

I am 54 and have had a swollen, red, itchy, scaly skin leg from the knee to the toes. I’ve been to the doctor 3 times and they checked for a blood clot and ran tests. No clots. Tried 2 different antibiotics that were prescribed and no change. Icing doesn’t change. Elevation doesn’t change. Compression socks doesn’t change it either. Resting it doesn’t help either.
Male | 54
It seems that you have a resistant skin problem on your leg. The redness, swelling, itching and flakiness could indicate different illnesses such as dermatitis or eczema. After excluding blood clots and failure of antibiotics treatment, it might be helpful to have them checked more thoroughly by a dermatologist. They can suggest different kind of therapy which will be more efficient taking into account the exact nature of the disease.
