Your heart is beating irregularly, but you’ve got the feeling for five days. This may not be very comforting, but there are several reasons to consider. In certain cases, the root cause of the fluttering is excessive stress or anxiety. Alternatively, it can be the result of the consumption of too much coffee or energy drinks. Taking slow, deep breaths and limiting caffeinated drinks will slow down the heart and make it beat regularly. In case the fluttering still goes on, the best thing is to visit a cardiologist to have your heart checked out.
