Could my chest pressure, shortness of breath be serious?

I am a 25 year old male who is having recent bouts of chest pressure and shortness of breath sometimes. I also have a bad taste/mucus coming from the back of my throat. I went to the ER and they ruled out a heart attack. I’m just very worried as I am young and fear for my health. It is also important to note that I am 6’1” and 381 pounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having worrying symptoms like chest pressure, shortness of breath, and a bad taste/mucus in your throat suggests something is wrong. Though the ER ruled out a heart attack, these symptoms may be due to your weight issue. Excessive weight can cause your heart and lungs to work harder, thus resulting in these problems. You may want to talk with a doctor about your weight and how it may affect your health.
