How can I manage hypertension side effects and improve sleep?

I am suffering from hypertension. I'm taking medication to control it. But couple of side effects is disrupting my daily life. Leading to this, I also have sleeping problems. I would like a doctor to advice me in order to get my pressure back to normal and to have a sound sleep again after years.
