Why does my left side chest hurt when lying down?
I can not lie down on my left side, my chest hurts on that side when i lay on left side, yawn, laugh hard or cough. I went to the pharmacist and I was given Ibuprofen, chytomycin and chlopidogel and yet it still hurts.

You might have costochondritis, which is inflammation of the cartilage in front of the rib cage causing pain. It can worsen when lying on your left side or with chest movements. Painkillers help, but rest and avoiding activities that trigger pain are also beneficial. If the pain persists or worsens, consider seeing a cardiologist for further evaluation.
