Experiencing Chest Pains After Cardiac Ablation Procedure

Patient's Query

I had a cardiac ablation done on June 5th, all was fine but the last 3 days I'm having chest pains and a heavy feeling in my chest.

Answered by Dr. Bhaskar Semitha

Chest pain and feeling like something heavy sits in your chest may be due to heart inflammation or irritation after the procedure. Correctly, the first step is to rest and not do any heavy lifting or get too physical. Make sure to complete your prescriptions. If you are still experiencing any of your symptoms or getting sicker, you must see a cardiologist.
