You are likely suffering from a phenomenon called acid reflux. Your stomach might produce the acid that will travel upward causing pain in your chest especially when lying down. It may be that the causes are eating particular kinds of food, being overweight, or you continue smoking. To solve the problem, you are recommended to avoid spicy and high-fat meals, eat less, and not lie down immediately after eating. It is highly suggested to visit a cardiologist if the pain persists.
