For some excess saliva in the mouth and loss of congestion in the chest, there could be several possible diagnoses. This could be due to allergies, sinus congestion, or even a common cold. Try drinking warm fluids, keeping your head elevated, and using a humidifier to ease the symptoms. Over-the-counter remedies like decongestants could also help. If the problem continues, it would be a good idea to see a cardiologist for further evaluation.
