Dear Dr. Ganesh Avhad, My name is Dr. Katarina Popovic. I am writing to you on behalf of my cousin who has a medical condition where your expertise would be appreciated. My cousin is a male in his early forties. Twelve years ago he was diagnosed with Acne keloidalis nuchae. There were three operative attempts to remove the acne, he was on various antibiotic therapies, also a therapy with Volon ampoules - all without any improvement. The acne are often bleeding. We were wondering if you have any recommendation for my cousin’s treatment. Looking forward to hearing from you. Best, Dr. Katarina Popovic
Male | 43
Acne keloidalis nuchae is characterized by the emergence of bumpy and painful acne on the back of the head and neck. This is a result of inflammation of the hair follicles. A dermatologist may recommend laser therapy or steroid injections to minimize inflammation for treatment. It is also advisable to keep the area clean to avoid infections.

I believe medicinal treatment like Minixidil PRP will help, but a consultation and examination would be essential before anything is said with confidence. I urge you to visit a dermatologist.

Hello, I have experienced something out of ordinary which is my right upper skin turning black from knuckles and both elbows. I tend to shake mostly when doing something small like inserting a pin in a small hole. I have a ringing in my ear in a day It can happen 3 to 4 times and it takes like 4 seconds . I thought it's from my infected teeth but am not sure . Am working 12 hours a day is it fatigue ?
Female | 25
The dark skin tone might stem from sluggish blood flow. As for the shaking and ear ringing, those could be linked to stress or fatigue from all that hard work. Remember to pause during those long shifts, try some relaxation exercises, and nourish yourself properly. If the issues persist, don't hesitate to consult a dermatologist.

Male | 22
Hair loss can be caused by stress, scalp fungus, and dandruff, which create an unhealthy environment for hair growth. To improve scalp health and reduce hair loss, try natural remedies. Use mild shampoos for dandruff, manage stress with relaxation techniques, and consult a dermatologist for scalp fungus. With the right treatment, you may notice your hair starting to regrow.

You are dealing with a problem of a lot of hair falling out, which can be one of those things that worry you. Stress, poor nutrition, or hormonal changes are common causes of your age. It's crucial to consume a healthy and balanced diet packed with vitamins and minerals. Try relaxation techniques like breathing exercises, guided imagery, and yoga to manage stress. Gently using hair products and not tying hairstyles tightly can also be beneficial.

My skin is very dull and i am having open pores near to the nose are on cheeks, skin texture is uneven.what can be possible reason for that
Female | 27
Dull, oily skin with large pores on the nose and cheeks is a common issue. This can result from excess oil production, genetics, or inadequate skin care. These factors often lead to rough patches and an uneven skin tone. To improve your skin, try using gentle cleansers, exfoliating regularly, and applying a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer. Additionally, staying hydrated is crucial. Open pores can get clogged with dirt and excess oil, but regular exfoliation can help keep them clear. Proper moisturizing prevents dryness without causing excess shine. With consistent care, smooth and evenly-toned skin is achievable.

I has a problem in my skin. It is soft and week how to solve it.
Male | 18
Soft and weak skin can signal the presence of multiple diseases such as Vitamin deficiencies and connective tissue disorders. I suggest you pay a visit to a good dermatologist who will examine your skin and conduct tests to come up with a diagnosis of the underlying cause. From the diagnosis, the dermatologist can propose suitable treatment to increase the health of your skin.

My name Is Shivani Verma . I am 20 years old . I have been suffering from acne marks and acne for many years now.
Female | 20
Acne marks and acne are worrisome but you are not the only one going through it. Acne occurs when the hair follicles get blocked with oil and dead skin cells. The result of this may be pimples, blackheads, or scars. Here are some steps to help yourself: use a soft cleanser to wash it only twice a day. Opt for non-comedogenic (products that don't block pores) skin care products and avoid the temptation to pop or pick pimples. If the problem persists, the best course is to make an appointment with a dermatologist who will evaluate your incoming visit.

I have low hair density from birth and I also have thin hairs
Male | 16
Genetics can play a role, and sometimes certain health conditions are involved. Solutions include using gentle hair products, avoiding excessive heat styling, and eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins and proteins to promote growth. It's best to consult a dermatologist for personalized advice and to identify any underlying causes. Remember, it's important to embrace your hair's natural qualities.

I am 27 years old female I have pimples on the face I have applied many cream and soaps which are not working fr my skin what to do naw? Can u suggest me cream and soap / face wash which is good. Fr daily use without side effects
Female | 27
I suggest a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser such as a mild gel face wash containing salicylic acid which can help treat breakouts. Try out oil-free moisturizers for moisturizing. Let go of the use of harsh scrubs and put sunscreen on top of your list during the day. After trying the over-the-counter methods for two to three weeks and not getting any results, ask for suggestions from a dermatologist who can customize a solution.

i have dead skin constantly pealling off my toes and a couple of cuts at the bottom of each toe and in-between the toes too
Male | 43
You probably developed athlete's foot. This fungal infection grows between toes, warm and moist spots. Peeling skin signifies it. Cuts are another symptom. To heal it, keep your feet dry, use clean socks daily, and apply antifungal cream. Clearing it takes time. Be patient. Stick with the treatment regimen.

A red colored and long mass type thing is coming out from belly button. thick yellow discharge also came out sometimes from belly button. I have no pain, no swelling, no discomfort, nothing
Female | 24
It looks as though you burgeon an umbilical granuloma which is a small piece of tissue that protrudes from your belly button. The yellow discharge may be an indication of the infection. In some instances, it could come on without any pain or swelling. To do this, you have to keep the area clean and dry. It is also possible that you will need antibiotics when the infection gets worse.

Yes, it is possible. Visit a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Delaying treatment can lead to complications and the risk of transmitting the infection to others.

I have recurring blisters under and on the side of my foot. As one clears another few show up
Male | 35
Blisters that keep popping up could mean recurring blisters. They're small, liquid-filled pockets that repeatedly appear on feet. Tight shoes causing friction, sweat, or allergies might cause them. Wear comfy shoes to avoid them. Keep feet dry too. Use blister pads if needed. But see a dermatologist if they won't go away. They can suggest further treatment.

Male | 17
You're having breakouts and little lumps on your face that got worse even when you took medication for them. These ailments can be caused by the pores in your skin being blocked with oil and the dirt that enters them. Make sure your face is washed with a gentle exfoliating cleanser daily. Moreover, avoid getting too close to your face. If you have the same problem, meet a dermatologist for the correct diagnosis and treatment.

How can I reduce darkness of my private parts
Female | 19
Tight garments, inadequate hygiene, or friction between skin can lead to discoloration there. To lighten the area, maintain cleanliness, wear loose clothing, and use mild soap for washing. However, if concerned or experiencing additional symptoms, consulting a dermatologist is a good option.

I am in a constant state of allergy/sinus attacks. Just about everyday and if not everyday, ever other, I’m congested sneezing running nose and constant irritation to my face along with my face feeling hot. I have cats but have had them for 5 years and this is just now a problem within the last 10 months.
Female | 24
You might be suffering from allergies - which could be the main reason for your never-ending sinus problems. Allergies can arise at any moment, even though you have become accustomed to living with your cat for a long time. The cat dander might be the one causing your symptoms to flare up. One way to improve your condition is to use an air purifier, keep your home tidy, and take the antihistamines prescribed by a dermatologist.

I am a male 17 year old almost I suddenly was showering and checked a bump when I was checking groin area lower abdomen left side and upper part of groin area I found something that is 1 cm and I can feel it? And I checked on other side but it was very small I can feel it but not as outer side as on left side is this inguinal lymph node? Or something serious I am very tensed feeling so scared what is it , I also had ultrasound a month ago of whole abdomen I don't think it was found or seen it that because it's in lower abdomen
Male | 17
The lump you are sensing in your groin region might be an engorged inguinal lymph node. Lymph nodes can get bigger due to different reasons like a cold or a sore. Most of the time, they return to their normal size without any intervention. Mind it, if the situation gets worse, you might experience pain and other signs like fever, do visit a dermatologist.
