Experiencing itchiness around your bottom? The culprit could be a fungal infection termed ringworm - presenting as a circular, irritating rash. Its emergence often stems from excessive perspiration or inadequate cleanliness of the area. Fortunately, treatment is straightforward: gently cleanse the affected region and apply an antifungal cream or powder. To accelerate healing, opt for loose, breathable undergarments, allowing proper ventilation.

Hello, I have a wart/verucca for a few years now, a couple of days ago it was painful and i noticed that it was all yellow around, like it was inflamed, so i tried to drain it and i cut the inflamed part to the point where all 7 layers of my skin was gone and it left a hole, the dimensions of the area is about 1.5cm and it doesnt hurt anymore, should i be concerned or will it heal on it own?

Female | 18

Cutting or draining a wart at home can lead to infection and other complications. Since you've removed multiple layers of skin and created a hole, there is a risk of infection, scarring, or delayed healing. A professional can assess the wound, provide appropriate treatment to prevent infection, and determine whether any further steps are needed for healing

Sometimes, accidentally biting the toungue or eating hard foods causes bruising. These bruises usually heal within one or two weeks by themselves. To ease any pain or discomfort, try soft foods and avoid spicy or acidic ones until healing occurs. If it persists, visiting a doctor may provide help.

Male | 50

Psoriasis can be a bit challenging to treat but various treatments like medications, laser treatments, alternative treatments like homeopathy etc., avoiding triggers that worsen your psoriasis symptoms can prove useful. I suggest talking to your doctor for proper examination of your condition which will help in deciding which is the best treatment for your condition.

Hi can I send pic of my little girl rash for diagnosis

I suggest that you should take your daughter to a dermatologist who will then check and identify the cause of her rash. It is advised that you consult a dermatologist close to you before you prescribe any drug or treatment.

Patches can appear discolored when a fungus infects facial skin. Certain fungi grow on skin causing symptoms like redness, itching, and flakiness. Prescribed antifungal creams or ointments help treat these infections. Keeping infected areas clean and dry assists effective treatment. Although not severe, fungal infections can leave marks if untreated. Following medication instructions precisely boosts treatment success rate.

Recently I have a insect bite n my face near eye area , and I think that insect release some fluid which is acidic in nature and it caused scare on my face after the wound repaired it seems white and black on surface how to treat this faster please .

Female | 26

You've had some trouble with that insect bite near your eye. The acidity of the insect's fluid might have caused the skin to scar. The skin can be either whitish or blackish. You can use aloe vera or vitamin E cream to treat it without leaving any scars. They are also useful in minimizing the visibility of the scars over time. Don't forget to rinse the area with water often and never itch it.
