Why Do I Have Excessive Hair Growth?

Excessive hair growth on female breast, chest and stomach

Answered on 4th Jan '25

Excessive hair growth on the body can be caused by several factors, such as hormonal imbalances, genetics, or certain medical conditions. Symptoms may involve visible hair in places commonly less frequent for women. It is crucial to make it clear that this is a treatable problem. Methods may include lifestyle changes (e.g. having a proper diet) or medical techniques like using hormones or laser hair removal. To those who have these problems, I suggest you talk to your dermatologist, who can offer you the best help and look after your health in general.

How does one treat syphilis

Male | 29

Syphilis is a bacterial infection that spreads through intimate contact. It starts with sores or a rash. Left untreated, it can damage organs like the heart, brain, and nerves. Antibiotics cure syphilis if taken promptly. Don't wait though - get tested and treated quickly. Delaying increases the chance of lasting harm. Syphilis is serious but easily managed with timely medical care.

Sun exposure can darken the skin. Some medications can also cause the skin to darken. It's important to protect your skin from the sun and use a good cream recommended by a dermatologist. Your skin will heal if you take proper care of it. Some people's skin turns dark from too much sun, while others may experience darkening due to illness. Keep your skin safe from the sun and any injuries. Apply the cream prescribed by the dermat, and your skin will improve.

Hello, I have redness on my nose, I would like to get rid of it, as its not the same colour and it looks ugly. I kinda know why its red. I had erythema multiforme, after someone drank from my water bottle and i got herpes simplex, i had red dots on my hand, knees, elbows, and one on my nosebridge now its gone, but ever since i have a discolored nose. The top where it connects to the forehead is white and below its a red colour, what can I do to get back the original colour of my nose, is there any medication that can help?

Male | 21

That redness on your nose might be leftover swelling. Don't worry though, with some gentle TLC, it should fade. Be sure to moisturize and use mild products. Staying out of harsh sunlight (and SPF!) will also keep discoloration away. It may take time, but your skin will heal.
