How many hours after DT injection can I drink alcohol?

DT injection medicine how much hours alcohol

Answered on 1st Nov '24

If you have a DT injection, it would probably be best if you avoid drinking alcohol for the next 24 hours. It is because drinking alcohol can aggravate the side effects of the injection. Among the potential consequences are redness or swelling at the injection site, mild fever, or feeling tired. To avoid any issues, it's better to wait a day before having alcohol after the DT injection.

You could be suffering from a common cold or flu. Cold symptoms include fever, runny nose, and feeling tired. These viruses are transmitted through a cough or a sneeze of a sick person close to you. First, if you want to feel better, you should make sure to rest, drink lots of fluids, and take some over-the-counter medicines such as paracetamol. However, if you experience worsening symptoms or have trouble breathing, you should visit a physician.

It is possible that a second episode can occur if you are still weak. The indications comprise fever, joint pain, muscle pain, headache, nausea, and rash. The primary source is getting bitten by a mosquito carrying the virus. Instead, to aid in easing the conditions, it is necessary to slow down, drink enough fluids, and use painkillers. In case the symptoms are getting worse, or last for a longer time, please get medical treatment.

The fact that the dengue test was negative is good news. Sometimes fever can be the result of other infections or viruses. Headache can occur during fever. Water should be consumed generously along with rest. It is best to visit a doctor for further checking if the fever and headache do not go away.

Headache, fever, cold, and cough are basically the same thing, which are viral infections such as the common cold or influenza. The reason behind these symptoms is that germs invade your body and cause sickness. To feel better, rest, drink plenty of water and soup, and take fever and headache medicines should be your top priorities.

If an infection is the cause, Cipmox 500 can be taken every 8 hours. Symptoms of an infection include fever, pain, redness, or swelling. Taking Midol and Nyquil together isn't good. Midol has acetaminophen for pain relief. Nyquil contains acetaminophen too. Too much acetaminophen can damage your liver. It may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Drink water to flush it out. Watch for nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain. Those are warning signs of overdose. If you feel ill, see a doctor immediately.

I have a swollen red hot arm after injecting

Answered on 19th Oct '24

When your arm gets red, swollen, and hot, it's likely reacting to the injection. The inflammation happens because your body sees the injected substance as foreign. Infections could also bring such symptoms. Putting something cold on it and raising your arm may help. But, if it remains the same, you need urgent medical care.

Why do I get tired easily and feel cold?

Good Morning I am a male, 29years from Southwest Nigeria, I have some illness I have been noticed for a while and i need advice. I always love football before but for a while I leave that activity due to academic pursuit but anytime I tried it now I get tired easily as if I will faint and slump. And moreover I get cold easily and which doesn't allow me to breathe deep as I should, but I noticed that anytime I take hot water or use hot water to bath I felt relieved but I don't think I should be using hot water for the rest so I am seeking a proper consultation

Anemia occurs when your body doesn't have enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen, leading to fatigue, cold sensitivity, weakness, and shortness of breath. While hot water may temporarily improve circulation, it's not a long-term solution. I recommend seeing a doctor for a blood test to check your red blood cell levels. Anemia can be caused by factors like iron deficiency or illness, and treatment may involve dietary changes, iron supplements, or other medications, depending on the cause. Getting proper medical care is essential to address your symptoms.
