I've already taken antibiotics in case of an infection, but they haven't helped. It's not a bladder infection, as I don't have pain while urinating. I'm 59 years old and have had a mild prostate enlargement for years, but it hasn't grown any larger in the past 10 years (it's checked annually). Additionally, I do need to get up three times a night to urinate, but that's been the case for years. The pain does lessen after a few days, but it always lingers a bit.
