Introduction

If you are planning to get a hair transplant in Thailand, it is important to know the cost of the treatment. This blog provides information about every detail of how much a hair transplant costs in Thailand. Keep reading to learn more about it.

There are two main techniques currently in use for hair transplantation. The FUE, Follicular Unit Extraction; and the FUT, Follicular Unit Transplantation techniques.

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a technique used in hair transplantation where individual hair follicles are extracted from the donor area of the scalp. During the FUE procedure, a specialized instrument is used to make tiny circular incisions around each follicular unit, and then the follicles are carefully extracted one by one.

Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) is a technique used in hair transplantation where a strip of tissue containing hair follicles is surgically removed from the donor area of the scalp.

Hello sir good evening. Iam 32 years old i lost my hair from fore head and my beard and remaining head start turning to grey or white iam very very worried about that one plz suggest me some solution to keep my head and beard hair naturally black

Male | 32

Hair loss on the front and beard can be due to several factors including genes, stress or some health conditions. Genes and nutritional deficiencies may also cause premature greying of hair. I would recommend seeking professional advice from a dermatologist who will diagnose the underlying condition with subsequent provision of appropriate treatment options

At 6 months post hair transplant I was happy with the results. At 12 months likewise. Even at 20 months I was was happy. My transplanted hair was less curly. Now at 22 months I noticed that my hair has thinned out. I have been taking propecia and oral minoxidil from the second month post hair transplant 5 mg per day with the exception that I missed the 21st month. Is this thinning normal ?

Male | 63

Noticing thinning at 22 months can be concerning. The truth is, hair thinning can occur even if the patient is taking medications like propecia and minoxidil. This could be due to various reasons such as genetics, stress, or missed doses of medications you mentioned in the 21st month. Talk about it with your medical team to find some solutions.

I have a baldness in my crown area. Hair transplant is the only option?

Male | 32

Hair transplant is one of the most effective and commonly chosen options for addressing baldness in the crown area of the scalp. Whether it is the right option for you depends on various factors, including your individual circumstances, preferences, and the extent of your hair loss. Talk to a hair transplant surgeon in your area. You can also opt for non-surgical options for managing hair loss in the crown area, such as medications or low-level laser therapy.

Hello ma'am, I am a 27 years old girl. My hair has gotten thinner. I wanted to have a permanent solution. So I would like to go for a hair transplant. But I am not bald, it's just I want it to look good. Should I go for surgery?

At 27 years of age in females, the decision to go in for hair transplantation has to be taken after a proper checkup and trichscopic examination ( microscopic evaluation of scalp along with the hair shafts ). But as an overview you can understand that hair transplant is not done in females for hair fall or generalized thinning but when the thinning has gone to the extent of visible skin showing through the thinning of the hair. Before it reaches this stage of visible loos there are other more conservative methods of treatment and therapies which can be of help and should be tried first. In case the loss is to the extent that at places skin is visible more esp at the place of parting or the front or the middle portion of the head then it is an indication to go for hair transplantation in females.

Baldness level 2 how much price to transplant hair

Male | 26

For a baldness level 2, where hair loss is relatively mild, the number of grafts needed may be lower compared to more advanced stages of baldness. Generally the cost is determined by the number of hair grafts required to cover the affected area.

When can i sleep on my side after hair transplant?

Male | 32

Hi,
If your temple area also have been created while your hair transplant, in that case you need to be a little cautious about your sleeping patterns. You should try to sleep on your back for atleast 8-10 days, you should avoid to sleep on your chest or on side. Since in this period hair grafts tend to be fragile. So after 10-12 days of hair transplant you can start sleeping on your side.

I want to remove a scar from the last FUT procedure. Any suggestions regarding treatment would be deeply appreciated. It has made my life extremely difficult.

Male | 36

FUT scars cannot be permanently removed but we can definitely minimize it's visibility

There are two options

One is scalp micro pigmentation and the other is FUE method of transplant on the FUT scar
