I'm a 23 year old girl I had sex on the 25th December and I'm using implant for prevention I just got my period after a month so will I.get pregnant if I remove the implant now
Answered on 28th Jan '25
When it's an implant, it's a birth control method that is very effective. If you pull it out, the fertility cycle is expected to return to normal in a few weeks, which means the possibility of getting pregnant is still there if you have unprotected sex. The fact that you had your last menstruation shows normal hormonal balance. If you're contemplating implant extraction, it's better to visit the gynecologist and talk over the reproduction implications corresponding to your plans. They can give you an individualized recommendation supported by your specific condition thus assisting you in acquiring the necessary knowledge for your sexual health.
Asked for Female, 20
Please am 20 years old female I had sex a day before my period came Please what's the chances of getting pregnant
Answered on 2nd Jan '25
If you are 20, have regular periods, and your menstrual cycle is about 28 days long, the possibility that conception will take place a few days before your period is generally very low. Commonly, the mature egg is released amid the cycle, after ovulation, which lasts only a few days and is not the best time to conceive. Conversely, the length of one's menstrual cycle can be different every time. Some very early symptoms of pregnancy could be the absence of periods, the feeling of sickness, or the soreness of the breasts. If you are experiencing any concerns or if you believe you have any abnormal symptoms, it is ideal to take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease. Moreover, it is highly recommended that you discuss this with a gynecologist to get personalized advice and support.

Hi sir I'm bilksh age 22 gender female In 9 day of periodic cycle I get intercourse and after 20hr I took a ipill after one week early period will came but it was the short time to bleeding.... But it is the 45 days crossed I'm not getting periods. And I'm also test 3time to pregnency kit the results comes negative.... Now what I should sir?
Answered on 23rd Dec '24
It seems that you have a problem in your menstrual cycle, which may be caused by some factors such as stress, hormonal changes, or using the morning-after pill. You should be calm, your negative pregnancy test is a real relief, but you should consider other factors too. I insist you give yourself some time to recover and keep watch for some changes in your body. In case your period does not come back soon, I would recommend that you get a consultation with a gynecologist who can give you personalized advice.
Asked for Female, 19
I’m 19 years old female and my boyfriend and I have unprotected sex. I take emergency pills within 24hours and after 1 week I got my period but it only last for 1 day. When my period stopped, after 2 days I notice some light viginal bleeding.
Answered on 20th Dec '24
The release of hormones can cause an unusual period after consuming an emergency pill, as hormones may alter your menstrual cycle. A day of menstruation and some light spotting is quite common. Stress and hormone levels are also major culprits of these changes. However, you should closely observe your symptoms. Whether it’s heavy and long bleeding or any other worrisome symptoms, it's better to seek your gynecologist's advice

I have got periods at 15 December but due to my bad health issues my periods stopped at 16 December what the reason is. 13,14 December I am suffering form fever. Then 15 December I have suffered with more fever then I went to doctor and checked then doctor gives me some medicine I take that medicine and my periods stopped in 2 days what the reason is
Answered on 19th Dec '24
It is quite ordinary for women to have their menstrual flow affected by illnesses and stress. Such things as high fever or some general health problems can for the time being throw the body's hormonal balance out of order, thus not letting you have your menstrual bleeding. The medication the doctor ordered may be another cause. Make sure you drink enough water and get enough sleep to recover completely. Keep checking on your symptoms, and suppose your periods do not return in a week, or if there are other issues, I suggest seeing a gynecologist for further examination.
Asked for Female, 28
I have not had my periods for the last 2 months
Answered on 19th Dec '24
The possible reasons for such an occurrence can be sometimes stress, hormonal imbalance, or even weight fluctuations. If the illness is less severe, you may feel tired or become moody all the time. The way out is to choose the right food avoid stress or perform regular exercise. It is necessary to have your body checked regularly and if the situation stays the same, the advice is to seek guidance and consultation from a gynecologist.
