He has pursued his MBBS from G B Pant Hospital / Moulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi in 1977, MD - Medicine from POSTGRADUATE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH, CHANDIGARH in 1981, DM - Cardiology from POSTGRADUATE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH and CHANDIGARH in 1985. He currently practices at Apollo Hospital Delhi in Sarita Vihar(Delhi), The Neurology Clinic - Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Jasola(Delhi) and Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in Sarita Vihar(Delhi). He holds membership of Indian Academy of Echocardiography and Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC).
