He has been been honored with Gold Medalist in Anatomy - award, Stood 1st in M.Ch entrance exam - award and Stood 1st in M.Ch course ranking - award. He has completed his MBBS from B J Medical College Ahemdabad in 1987, MS - General Surgery from B J Medical College Ahemdabad in 1992 and MCh - Surgical Oncology from B J Medical College Ahemdabad in 1994. He carries his medicinal practice at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute in Banjara Hills(Hyderabad).
