My hair are getting thinner day by day and it is genetic disorder because my father and his father are also bald ,suggest me something on this please
Answered on 10th Sept '24
You are experiencing hair loss due to a hereditary condition known as male pattern baldness. This is a common issue often inherited from family members. A key symptom is that your hair will gradually become thinner. Unfortunately, this type of hair loss is difficult to cure, and there's no guaranteed solution to stop it completely. However, there are options to potentially slow down the process, such as medications or hair restoration procedures. Consult a dermatologist or a hair specialist to determine the best treatment for your situation.

It's quite common to have worries about baldness at a young age. Hair loss may be a result of stress, poor diet, or hereditary factors. Minoxidil combined with finasteride can be beneficial for hair growth, but it is crucial to use it according to the doctor's instructions. Daily use may be needed for maximum effect.

I'm a 30 year old guy who's been dealing with hair loss for a while now. I've been seriously considering a hair transplant, and I'm curious about the outcomes. Can u provide insights on what to expect 5 years after a hair transplant?
Answered on 25th Sept '24
I would recommend that you seek the opinion of an experienced hair transplant specialist to help decide on what treatment plan will work best for your situation. There are many factors to consider for finalizing any particular treatment plan. Although hair transplant surgery may work for certain individuals, one should bear in mind that results are not always consistent and can take up to several months after the operation before they become fully visible. For more details, contact a hair transplant surgeon.

How do I cure my androgenetic alopecia?
Answered on 23rd May '24
This is a genetic disease called androgenetic alopecia, which many people refer to as male or female pattern baldness with no absolute cure. Various treatments can help control the progression. Hair growth can be promoted and hair loss slowed down with the help of an over-the-counter medication called topical minoxidil. Orally administered prescribed medications like Finasteride can be used to suppress the effects of hormones that lead to hair loss. PRP treatment is showing promising results currently as solutions for encouraging growth of hair follicles. A visit to a dermatologist or hair specialist is necessary for an accurate diagnosis and recommendation of the most suitable treatment plan based on your condition and individual needs.
Doctor I am 42 years male, from Thrissur. For the last 2 years. It is almost getting bald. I have been on medication for high blood pressure past 7 years, I guess. So am I eligible for hair transplant?
Answered on 23rd May '24
Being a 42 years old male with quite intense hair loss and being on the medication for high blood pressure over last seven years you may be able to undergo the procedure of hair transplant. However, eligibility is determined based on a number of factors such as your overall state of health in the scalp area and how much hair loss has taken place or might take but you must also have areas from where tissues for transplant will be harvested. It’s best to seek guidance of an experienced hair transplant specialist that will check up your case individually, taking into account both medical records and the actual state of your skin and hair.

From last month I'm suffering with full hair fall the hair is falling from the tip and hair fall is very high
Answered on 23rd May '24
It seems as if you may be suffering from severe hair loss. It may as well have been caused by many factors like stress, hormonal changes or a disease. I would suggest visiting a dermatologist, who could examine your scalp and diagnose the reason for hair loss. They can then develop a customized treatment plan for you

What to expect 2 months after hair transplant?
Answered on 23rd May '24
You will only notice shedding in your new hair two months after a graft operation. This sloughing is transient, as new hair growth usually occurs within the subsequent months. The donor area should be completely healed, and any remaining redness or swelling should be reduced. Although the transplanted hair grows slowly, results might already be present. Postoperative care involves carefully observing your surgeon’s instructions, such as using any recommended medications and attending follow-up appointments, to achieve the best possible outcome with optimal healing.

When can you kiss after rhinoplasty?
Answered on 23rd May '24
It is usually advised not to kiss for a few weeks so that there can be proper healing and the risk of infection will also reduce. Introducing bacteria to the nose, during early recovery might also disrupt healing. Your surgeon will give you detailed postoperative care instructions. Following these guidelines will help ensure a smooth recovery and the best results coming from nose surgery. If you have any concerns or questions, contact your doctor to get advice related specifically to your situation.

When can i touch my transplanted hair?
Answered on 23rd May '24
Wait at least 10-14 days before touching the transplanted hair. Grafts are fragile. Wait until Day 4 to clean gently even. From Day 8 , light touches are fine, however be cautious. 14 days later, full routine resume. Always focus on being gentle especially at the beginning stages. Consult with your hair transplant surgeon for post transplant care
