Dr. Manjunath Subramanyam

Dr. Manjunath Subramanyam. Is one the few esteemed Cranio-maxillo-facial surgeons in Bangalore.. He is an EU-trained CMF surgeon with experience from two continents( Asia and Europe). His core area of expertise includes CMF reconstructions for trauma, neoplastic and congenital defects, CMF aesthetic surgeries (orthognathic-rhinoplasty-rhytidectomy, occuloplasty); TMJ surgeries; oral surgeries; and dental implants. Dr. Manjunath Subramanyam completed his Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore University. He was greatly influenced by Dr. Kishore Nayak, who was his mentor at the undergrad level, to pursue a career in maxillofacial surgery. With perseverance and hard work, he completed his maxillofacial surgery residency at YSMU-Armenia in April 2014 (which is a member nation of “The European Union of Medical Specialists( UEMS) and EACMFS”) under the mentorship of Dr. Eduard Avetisyan and Dr. Artavad Sakhyan. As part of his residency program, in his final year, he completed a trauma observership programme at the “Shock Trauma Center Baltimore” (STC) under the mentorship of Dr. Eduardo Rodriguez (World renowned Plastic, Reconstructive & Facial Transplant Surgeon). Further, he moved to AZ Sint Jan hospital Brugges, Belgium and completed his fellowship in advanced cranio-maxillo-facial surgery along with a diploma in head and neck reconstructive microsurgery from (UAB-Barcelona, Spain) in July 2016, under the mentorship of Dr. Gwen Swennen, Dr. Calyx Declerq, Dr. Jaumie Massia ,Dr. Fedric Kolb, Dr. EricSantamaria, and FU CHAN WEI. Dr. Manjunath Subramanyam obtained the licence in India for Maxillofacial Surgery after completing the MOH govt of INDIA Licensing guidelines and an internship at CMFS/HEAD ND NECK SURGERY DEPT AIMS Kochi from June-August 2015 under the mentorship of Dr. Subramanyam Iyer. Dr. Manjunath after returning to India in March 2017, started his journey with CIMS Hospital and DR Hemanth Sariya team in Ahmedabad. After a short stint, he relocated to Bengaluru in September 2017. Since then, he was associated with the Nypunya PRS team with Dr. Prashntha Kesari, Plastic and reconstructive surgeon( Chief consultant & Head of Nypunya PRS team), till March 2019, as an associate CMF surgeon in the team. As part of the team, he has rendered his services in many hospitals in south Bengaluru ( Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital, Rangadore Hospital, Excel Care Hospital, Shanthi Hospital, Fortis Hospital, HCG, Axon Hospital, and Gleneagles Hospitals). In January 2019, he joined BGS Glèneagles as an Associate Consultant in CMF Surgery. In pursuit to have his own state of art clinic ( office) he started Meenakshi Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, he launched Meenakshi Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic in Bangalore, India.
