I am 40 years old.I have a Daughter and I want to get pregnancy soon. But it's not working
Female | 40
It seems you're having trouble getting pregnant. One major issue could be "ovulation problems." Poor ovulation makes it hard to conceive. Considering your health and age, age can also make it harder to get pregnant. The best way to address this is to keep a record of your menstrual cycle and consult your gynecologist. They might suggest treatments like medications or procedures to help you conceive.

I had protected sex but still took and ipill will I be pregnant? and I'm having fever after ipill
Female | 17
If you had protected sex and took an emergency contraceptive pill like iPill, your chances of getting pregnant are lower but not zero. It's normal to experience side effects like fever after taking the pill, usually due to hormonal changes. Rest, drink plenty of fluids, and take fever-reducing medication if needed. If the fever persists or you have other concerns, it's best to consult a gynecologist.

My pregnant wife legs keep on swelling up while she is just 5month pregnant
Female | 22
During the 5th month, leg swelling can occur due to fluid retention and pressure on veins from the growing baby, slowing circulation and causing fluid buildup. To alleviate this, recommend elevating legs, remaining active, and wearing support stockings. Importantly, discuss it with her gynecologist.

I took unwanted 72 pill twice a month(we also used condoms) (one on 28 Feb and another on 11th march) of my cycle. My period due date was 20th March and it's one day late. What can be the reason behind it and what can be done? Can I still be pregnant?
Female | 25
Sometimes, using emergency contraception like Unwanted 72 can impact your menstrual cycle's timing. Stress, illness, routine changes - these factors can also delay your period's arrival. With the dates you provided and the condom usage, pregnancy seems unlikely. However, waiting a bit longer may yield your expected period. If concerns persist, a pregnancy test could offer reassurance.

I am unmarried girl 22 I masturbated with paste for 1 year and 5 months and fingered her on the upper lips of the vagina, not in the vagina. And it's been more than a year since I quit masturbating and I've never fingered my vagina. I have this problem that The vagina of my upper lips has broken a little and their shapehas been spoiled But there is no symptoms for pain and bleeding etc. And I have completely given up on it, it has been more than a year but now I am married. Can you tell me if this is dangerous and my partner will not know? And I have nightfall twice every month.
Female | 22
The variations you observed in the upper lips of your vagina could be from your previous habits. These changes would not be serious if you do not have any pain, or bleeding. But, it is always best to have a mild examination by a gynecologist. They can assure you and tell you how to take care of that area.

I had dry discharge and periods date is today and it's not come so I test with pregnancy kit and it's negative so it's come tomorrow or not I am worried about that
Female | 20
When periods get irregular, it's understandable to feel concerned. Dry discharge and a skipped cycle could stem from stress, hormonal shifts, or routine disruptions. A negative pregnancy test might also mean you tested too soon. Remain composed; wait another week. If your period still doesn't arrive, retest or consult a gynecologist.

If your period is 5 days late and negative pregnancy test, it can mean that there are difficulties with hormone levels or ovulation-related symptoms. I would advise you to seek the opinion of a gynecologist.

Hi dr I have one doubt… I am in first month of pregnancy and doctor advised me to take corpreg tablet instead of folic acid… So my doubt is which one is better… can I take both tablets together?
Female | 27
It is commendable that you are already looking for nice ways to care for yourself and your pregnancy. Folic acid is essential for a healthy pregnancy. It helps in reducing the incidence of neural tube defects in the baby. Corpreg is a supplement that contains folic acid and other vitamins and minerals. You can take the two pills in combination because taking corregar improves the baby's birth by adding extra necessary nutrients for the baby's development.

Why can't I sleep during my periods?
Female | 22
It is quite usual for a girl to have a hard time sleeping during her period. One of the major factors behind this is hormonal changes. During menstruation, your body releases more prostaglandins, which can lead to cramps and affect your sleep patterns. You can also have problems sleeping because of the feeling of fullness, irritation, and anxiety. To feel better, one may try drinking calming tea, applying a heating pad, and relaxing around bedtime.

I used an emergency contraception about a month and a half ago, and found my self in a situation where I need to use one again now. In February I had a miscarriage and I’m just wondering how many times I can use emergency contraception, and if it’s okay to even after having a miscarriage. I have used probably about 6 in my life. Is there a limit to how many a woman can take? Will it affect my gynecological health?
Female | 21
Emergency contraception is intended for occasional and emergency use, not as a regular form of birth control. While there is no strict limit on how many times emergency contraception can be used, it's important to understand that it is not as effective or reliable as regular contraception methods.
Repeated use of emergency pills can disrupt hormonal balance in your body and cause irregularities in your menstrual cycle. It's recommended to speak personally with a gynec about more reliable and appropriate forms of contraception that can better suit your needs and provide ongoing protection.

I'm experiencing vigina infection after delivery..it come n go after using medication it been months since July. I'm so stressed I don't what to duo now
Female | 34
Symptoms like changes in vaginal discharge color, itching, burning, and odors can indicate an infection. After childbirth, hormonal changes can make women more prone to infections. It's important to get a proper diagnosis and treatment, as some infections may need specific medications or lifestyle changes. There's no need to worry, as this is a common condition that can be treated with the right therapy. Visit a gynecologist for proper care.

Hi I don't fell well, skipped my period for about 2 months,I vomiting everyday the whole day and I have so much fatigue and body pains can you help
Female | 25 years
These symptoms are all signs of an underlying process occurring within your body. You may be with a child, although if this isn’t the case then you could have a hormonal imbalance or an illness. The most important thing to do now is to visit a gynecologist so that they can diagnose what is happening and offer the appropriate treatment so that your health may improve.

My periods date was on may 13 and i got a sexual intercourse on may 5. Is there is any chance of pregnancy here?
Female | 22
The possibility of pregnancy depends on the timing of sexual intercourse in relation to your menstrual cycle. Sperm can survive for several days, so conception is possible if you ovulated earlier than expected or have a shorter cycle. If you're concerned take a home pregnancy test after your missed period.

Is pregnancy possible after coming periods
Female | 22
Yes! Pregnancy can be possible after having a period. In some cases, ovulation is rather quicker than usual which could account for the cycle being shorter than normal. If you've had unprotected intimate contact after your period, typical symptoms of pregnancy such as nausea, breast tenderness, or fatigue may point to the possibility of being pregnant. You can be sure of this with a simple urine test.

Helo Dr .. iam 32 years old diagnosed with hypogonadotropic hypogonadisim i have primary amenorrhea married for 3 years now i have one baby 1 years old i get pregnant after long period of ovulation induction iam lactating now with no period sure my question can i get pregnant spontaneously without induction is there any chance?
Female | 32
In your case of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, hormonal changes can occur at a later time after giving birth, which might lead to spontaneous ovulation. A small but special opportunity is that, on the off chance of being pregnant without the use of protest, the possibility of pregnancy without induction exists. It's always good to talk to your gynecologist about it and get advice based on your diagnosis.
