The patient has had liver cirrhosis since 2012 and also has a kidney stone measuring 20-22 mm. Due to the size of the stone, the kidney has been affected. However, doctors are hesitant to treat the kidney stone due to the liver condition. Could you please provide advice on how to proceed?
Female | 45
A big stone probably means that the kidneys will start producing a lot of blood alongside urine. Besides, those stones can cause blockage of the ureter, thus, enlargement of the kidney. Therefore, risks that come together with a liver consisting should be pointed out and discussed with a nephrologist to take advice that would help the patient handle both liver and kidney problems proficiently.

Aoa, I m 43 year old male suffering from RENAL FAILURE my reports are as under . Creatinine is 19.4 Urea 218 Hb 8.4 Vomiting Abdominal pain
Male | 43
Your kidneys may not be working properly, leading to high levels of creatinine and urea in your blood. These substances should be filtered out by the kidneys but are staying in your bloodstream, causing symptoms like fatigue, low hemoglobin, vomiting, and abdominal pain. To start feeling better, you may need treatments like dialysis and medications to lower these levels. Renal failure is a serious condition, so it's important to follow a nephrologist's guidance for proper management.

Hi, I have end-stage kidney failure and I've been doing hemodialysis for 4 years now, and I've been worrying about my fistula or how long it is going to last before I get a tube stuck in my neck as an alternative. Today, the bulge on my arm which I assume is the fistula got moved or at least something got moved slightly causing discomfort and a change of shape of the bulge. Is that a cause for concern? It doesn't have redness or pain in the exact place, but I'm worried sick. Can this be fixed by a surgery? Other questions that have been bothering me. How about if it got ruptured? It started to bulge and reddened. Can it still be fixed? Also, let's say my left arm fistula died and I had to use my right arm. Can I still use my left arm for fistula once it's healed in the future? Thank you for your answers in advance, I'm a teenager who got dealt with a bad hand right from the get-go and I wish to know more about my current situation.

It’s understandable to be concerned about changes in your fistula. If you notice any discomfort, change in shape, or other symptoms like redness, it's important to check it. A vascular surgeon can assess your fistula and determine if any intervention is needed. Even if your current fistula fails, it's possible to create a new one in the same arm after healing. This should be evaluated by your doctor. Please consult your nephrologist or a vascular surgeon for a detailed examination and advice.

I m in great problem. Pelvicalyceal system of left kidney is collaspsed calculas at right uretero-vesical junction, resulting obstructive uropathy (size : 4.9 mm) Small calculus within mid polar calyceal complex of right kidney (size : 8.0 mm) Right adrenal lipoma (size : 25.9 mm) and left side testis pain too.
Male | 41
The obstruction in the ureter which is causing the kidney stones can be the reason for the symptoms like pain while urinating, the presence of blood in the urine, or discomfort in the back. Furthermore, the small stone in your right kidney can result in pain as well. On the other hand, the lipoma in your right adrenal gland most probably doesn't cause any symptoms. Testis pain is a symptom that can indicate several different issues. You should consult a nephrologist for the best course of treatment.
