Asif was just an 11-year-old boy from Bangladesh; everything was going smoothly. Suddenly, his life was about to take a drastic turn. One day, while playing with his friends, Asif hurt his knee on an iron bar. Like most children, he didn't think much of it and didn't tell his parents about the injury. However, a few days later, the wound worsened, and septic developed. Seeing him in immense pain, Asif's parents took him to a doctor in Bangladesh, who performed surgery on his knee. But unfortunately, the surgery didn't go as planned, and Asif was left in even more pain, unable to walk.
Feeling hopeless, Asif's parents took him to another doctor, who performed another surgery. This time, after the surgery, the doctor ran some tests and discovered that Asif had Ewing's sarcoma. Asif's parents and relatives were devastated by this news.
They didn't know where to turn for help. But then, through a relative's contact, they heard about ClinicSpots, a medical tourism company that connects India’s best doctors with patients worldwide.
With no more wasting time in November 2022, they contacted the ClinicSpots Executive and explained Asif's situation. The Executive arranged visas and tickets for Asif and his parents to travel to India for treatment. During this time, Asif was given chemotherapy treatment to alleviate some of his pain in Bangladesh itself.
When they arrived in India, the ClinicSpots field executive assisted them in traveling and scheduling an appointment with Dr. Kirti Bhushan, a well-known oncologist in Mumbai at S.L Raheja Hospital. After reviewing Asif's reports, the doctor determined that cancer had spread to his foot, backbone, and lungs and surgery was not an option for healing. The doctor suggested 6 cycles of chemotherapy as a start for the treatment. Soon Asif was admitted to the hospital the next day and began his first cycle of chemotherapy.

After the first cycle, the ClinicSpots executive visited Asif and was amazed by the results. Before chemotherapy, Asif was pale, unable to walk, and in a wheelchair, but now he was trying to walk and has regained some confidence after 1st chemotherapy. Asif’s family thanked the executive and said that it was the first time in 2 and a half years that he could stand on his feet, which was a massive achievement for both ClinicSpots and Asif.
The treatment is still ongoing, with 5 more cycles of chemotherapy, a PET scan, and radiotherapy left. Asif and his parents will now stay in India for more than two months, which would be quite expensive.
All thanks to ClinicSpots executives for arranging their accommodation in India ( Mumbai) at a very affordable cost. Asif and his parents are pleased and satisfied with the services provided by ClinicSpots, and they hope for Asif's full recovery soon. Once the treatment is done, they will return to Bangladesh.
