It’s good that you’re paying attention to the changes in your body. Sudden weight loss can sometimes be linked to conditions like diabetes, thyroid issues, or other underlying health problems. Visit an endocrinologist to check for diabetes and thyroid problems. The doctor may suggest tests like blood sugar levels and thyroid function tests to identify the issue.

I have period 14 day but whyy? This is normal?
Female | 17
Among the most general triggers for continuous bleeding are hormonal changes, tension, or else certain body conditions. Signs of the disease might be weakness or discomfort. Remember to observe the rise of any other signs like heavy bleeding or severe pain. In that case, or if it keeps for a long time, I would consult with the doctor first of all. They will provide various ideas and will decide whether further observation is necessary.

I am 17 year old female. Today and yesterday I have been feeling extremely lightheaded. Everytime I turn my head it goes fuzzy. I am diagnosed with Anorexia. However I’ve been eating fine recently so I don’t think it’s a nutrition problem. I checked my glucose levels and they are 6.4mmol/L Any ideas??
Female | 17
This might be a case of orthostatic hypotension. It may occur when your blood pressure drops suddenly after a sudden change in position. Anorexia has an effect on the heart, which can result in this problem. Drink more fluids and take it slow when switching positions to make the condition easy to manage. If it persists, talk to your doctor.

Female | 22
Your vitamin D might be a little low. If you don’t get enough sunlight, have a diet low in certain nutrients, or suffer from some medical conditions, you may feel tired, have aches and pains, or weak bones. You can add fish and eggs to your meals more often, spend time outside, or take supplements with this vitamin to increase its level in the body. You should consult your healthcare provider for more information.

Hi I m on thyroid tablets of 125mcg eltroxin My current tsh is 0.012, t3 - 1.05, t4 - 11.5 Should I reduce the dosage to normalise
Female | 32
Based on the thyroid test results, you have slightly low thyroid levels as your TSH is 0.012. Your present dosage of eltroxin may be too high for you; this could be the case. Besides, these might be the possible reasons: you will feel jittery, lose weight, and have trouble sleeping. To correct the dosage, consult your doctor and suggest doing the treatment at the lower dosage to get your thyroid levels back in balance.

FSH (Follicle-stimulating hormone) and LH (Luteinizing hormone) regulate your reproductive system. Increased LH and decreased FSH levels may be the reason for diseases like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) or early menopause. Symptoms could be a delay in periods, acquisition of acne, or trouble in pregnancy.

Not only this, but PCOS might also lead to extreme hair growth, acne, and irregular periods. This is one of the reasons for the proliferation of this syndrome with unbalanced hormones. I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease with TSH level almost zero in August 2023. I was prescribed Methimez 15 mg initially, which was gradually reduced to 2.5mg daily. My TSH level is currently 7.9, FT4=0.82, FT3=2.9. Should I still be taking daily methimez 2.5mg or should I fully stop it/reduce it less than 2.5mg daily since TSH level is currently 7.9. History of medical conditions: I was diagnosed with Grave's Disease in August 2023 with TSH level touching zero. Current medication details: I was prescribed Methimez 15mg daily which was gradually reduced and is currently prescribed at 2.5mg on a daily basis. History of medication for the same complaint: None
Male | 41
Graves' Disease affects thyroid function. Your recent TSH test result at 7.9 shows an imbalance. To regulate hormone levels, continue taking Methimazole 2.5mg daily as prescribed. Stopping this medicine on your own risks causing uncontrolled symptoms. These may include rapid heartbeat, weight fluctuations, and fatigue. If you have any worries or questions, be sure to discuss them with your doctor.

medicine for decrease estrogen level in male
Male | 15
If a male's system contains excessive estrogen, it may result in problems such as tiredness, increased fat, and a change in disposition. This can occur from being overweight, some drugs, or illnesses. To reduce these levels of estrogen it is helpful to exercise regularly, have a balanced diet, and manage stress. Men should not drink alcohol if they want their estrogen level down; they also need to keep fit for this hormone balance.
