Hypoglycemia occurs when blood sugar levels fall below normal, which can cause symptoms like trembling, sweating, hunger, or dizziness. This often happens due to missing meals or not eating enough. To prevent hypoglycemia, aim to eat regular, balanced meals and snacks throughout the day. If you have concerns, consult a doctor for a proper diagnosis and advice.

Feeling down due to a high thyroid level can be tough. A reading of 4.4 may indicate an imbalance. Symptoms like fatigue, weight fluctuations, and muscle weakness often occur. The looseness in your chest area might stem from thyroid issues impacting your heart or chest muscles. The wise choice is consulting a endocrinologist. They can conduct a thorough evaluation and provide proper treatment.

Female | 21
You lost 10 kg in a year, without trying. Also, you had hair falling out, and vomiting during periods. Taking emergency contraceptive pills frequently may impact your body. These symptoms indicate possible hormone imbalances or lack of nutrients. You should see a gynecologist. They will assess these issues properly.

This is a gland in the neck that can cause tiredness, weight gain, and loss, or feelings of anxiety and depression. When too much or too little hormone is produced by this organ these symptoms may arise. To confirm the diagnosis, go for some blood tests at the doctor’s office. If there is an issue, don’t worry – there are treatments available that will help to balance the levels of thyroid hormones within your body.

High thyroid levels on some occasions are associated with heart palpitations. Your thyroid dosage should probably be changed to assist in this. My metabolism has been messed up since taking invega sustenna where i gain a kilo if i eat 100 calories over 1000 calories. i used to be able to eat whatever i wanted well over 2000 calories and flunctuate and go over certain calorie amounts and not gain weight. however after taking invega sustenna 100 mg for 10 months my metabolism has become like this. i discontinued the medicine 2 months ago and my metabolism is still not back to normal. how long will it take for it to go back to normal ?
Female | 27
In some cases, medicine can actually change the way our body burns calories, and hence the weight changes. The metabolism process might be slow to return to normal for a few months after the cessation of the drug. Eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly to help things get back on track.

Male | 46
Linagliptin and teneligliptin are diabetes medicines. They regulate blood sugar levels. But, switching medications isn't so simple. Your doctor knows best. Tell them your situation. They'll suggest the ideal option. It depends on your symptoms and health. Don't change meds on your own.

Hi mother breast feeding 16 months child Vitamin d is 5 ng/,ml Kindly suggest Any medicine and how to take
Female | 35
It seems that Vitamin D Vitamin D is lacking in your child's body. This can happen if the child does not spend enough time in nature or does not eat the necessary foods. Low levels can lead to weak bones and immunity. But you don't have to worry a lot as children can be given Vitamin D drops and using the drops once in their food will be sufficient. In addition, sunlight exposure for about 10-15 minutes also helps boost Vitamin D.

Low vitamin D levels can make you feel tired, and weak, and cause bone pain. Taking a vitamin D supplement with 1000-2000 international units daily can help increase your levels. You may need to take it for a few months until your levels improve.

i just want to ask about if my hypothyroidism problem can be cured as most of the time i have high value of TSH and also have symptoms like irregular periods, brittle nails and excessive hair loss. I'm a female of 23, i have hypothyroidism issue since i was 15.
Female | 23
It seems like you might suffer from hypothyroidism, where your thyroid doesn't produce enough thyroid hormones. This can result in high TSH levels as well as symptoms such as irregular periods, weak nails, and hair loss. Normally, hypothyroidism entails long-term treatment with thyroid hormone medications to help control its signs. You should continually see a doctor who'll watch out for your thyroid levels and modify the treatment when necessary.

Hi my vitamin d tests came back as 26.3 Can i take vit d3 60000iu capsule weekly once and till how much time i should continue
Male | 39
You have low vitamin D, only 26.3. That's too little. Low vitamin D causes tiredness, weak muscles, and bone pain. Take 60000 IU vitamin D3 capsules weekly. Do it for 8 to 12 weeks, or how long your doctor says. Get tested again to check if your levels improve. Eat healthy foods and spend some time in the sun to raise vitamin D further.

Male | 48
It looks like the blood sugar level of this 48-year-old person is extremely high. If the HbA1c is over 10% and the average blood glucose level is 263.3 mg/dL, it means the diabetes is not well controlled. Common symptoms include frequent urination, thirst, weight loss, and tiredness. This could be due to not taking medications properly or not following a healthy diet. To manage this, eat a balanced diet, take their medicines as prescribed, and exercise regularly.
