Urine infection and prostrate

Urologist
Answered on 18th Mar '25
Urinary infections often present with symptoms like a frequent urge to urinate, discomfort during urination, and cloudy urine. These infections can arise from bacteria, sometimes linked to an enlarged prostate, which may cause additional issues like difficulty emptying the bladder. To address these concerns, it's essential to stay well-hydrated and consider over-the-counter medications to relieve symptoms. However, persistent issues warrant a consultation with a urologist to explore appropriate treatments and rule out any underlying conditions.

Why is my right side testicle shrink after treatment

An urologist must be consulted for accurate diagnosis and evaluation of your issue. The contraction of the right side of a testicle due to therapy might occur because of infection, injury, hormonal imbalances, or hidden medical conditions.

Sir, I have not having prostate size 96 gm.my pas level is10.7.no urinary abnormalities.can I go for turp.
Male | 56
With the information you’ve given me about your prostate size and PSA level, you might have symptoms from an enlarged prostate. This can make you need to pee a lot or feel like you can’t empty your bladder all the way. If you’re thinking about getting TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate), it’s a common surgery that helps with these problems. You should talk to a urologist about whether or not this would be a good choice for you.

I am getting pain while urination and blood in urine from last 1-2 days.
Female | 27
The signs of the infection can be in your urinary tract or even kidney stones. The critical factor is that you should drink lots of water, and it is always better not to keep urine in the bladder. See a urologist as soon as possible, who will give you a proper assessment and prescribe the right treatment.

Stomach pain sore when pee
Male | 40
To pee while having a stomach ache can be a sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI). The symptoms of a UTI may include the feeling like you need to pee frequently but with no result, or your urine looks cloudy or smells bad. If you consume a lot of water, it will be easier to water-bathe the bacteria that are infecting you. If it doesn't get better, you should see a urologist.

I'm having pain or burning with urination
Female | 22
A urinary tract infection is likely the cause of your symptoms. Germs invading your urinary system instigate inflammation. Along with painful, burning urination, you might experience frequent urges and cloudy urine. Staying hydrated aids in flushing out bacteria. However, if discomfort persists, consulting a urologist would be prudent.

Hi Doctor, i m an indian citizen and i am facing the problem of partially phimosis . My penis foreskins goes back easily when not erriction in penis . But it dont goes back when during sex. I dont want to circumsize my penis is there any other way to treat it ?
Male | 25
Yes, there are non-surgical treatments that can be effective in treating partial phimosis. One option is to try stretching exercises to gradually loosen the foreskin. In this you need to gently pull back the foreskin several times a day, either manually or with the use of a stretching device. Do this slowly and gently to avoid causing pain or injury. Another option is to use topical corticosteroid creams or ointments, which helps to reduce inflammation and loosen the foreskin. These medications are available by prescription from a specialist and should only be used under your doctor's supervision.

If you've eaten cotton candy, it might turn your urine pink. Don’t worry, the food coloring should clear up soon. Just drink plenty of water to flush it out. If it lasts more than two days, see a dermatologist.

I'm 23 year old man. I'm having a mild pain and discomfort radiating from right lower back to right testicle. Today I only feel it in testicle...and not in back
Male | 23
You might have a condition called epididymitis, which means there's swelling in the tubes near your testicle. The pain you feel could also spread from your lower back to your testicle. This can happen due to an infection or an injury. To feel better, you should rest, use ice packs, and see a urologist for proper treatment.

Iam suffering from UTI infections since 4 months and used several antibiotics like Oflaxicin, Cefidoxime, Amoxycillin and Nitrobacter , But still the condition exists after every period with symptoms of urine incontinence, lower abdomin pain and flatulence, urge to go urine every 30min, urine leakage while sneeezing / laughing , hot flushes in urine passage, vagina and even rectal region throughout the day and subsides during nights . Could you please suggest your valuable opinion regarding my problem Iam a working womean in pharma Thank you
Female | 43
The fact that you have not responded to multiple courses of antibiotics, its possible that you may have a chronic or recurrent UTI. I recommend seeing a urolgist or gynecologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Male | 25
You may have a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs typically present with symptoms such as frequent urination, itching in the urethra, and difficulty urinating. These bacteria require treatment through antibiotics like LeFloxin. Complete the full course of antibiotics to clear the infection. Your doctor might prescribe another medicine if the symptoms persist after the first round of treatment.

I’ve been urinating frequently and having back pain for months now and I don’t perform well on bed like before
Male | 20
Frequent urination and back pain may indicate a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs occur when bacteria enter your bladder, resulting in discomfort, urgency, and potential sexual difficulties. Consuming significant water and seeking medical antibiotics proves highly beneficial. Delaying treatment risks exacerbating symptoms, so proactively address this health concern with a urologist.

Prostate surgery ,urin not pass out from 5th days,
Male | 68
It is most unordinary for pee to stall after a prostate medical procedure. If you are unable to pee normally five days following surgery, it may be because of swelling or an obstruction. This can bring pain, the constant need to urinate, and the feeling of a full bladder. You should get in touch with a urologist immediately. They will be able to help identify what is causing the problem and give an appropriate treatment plan.

I found out that after urinating, sperm comes out but not regularly, and whenever am talking to a girl like in an existing mood I see my sperm leak, I don't know what is going on
Male | 26
It's normal for a clear fluid called pre-ejaculate to come out of the penis after urination or during arousal. This fluid can contain a small number of sperm and might be more noticeable when you're talking to a girl or feeling sexually aroused.

I'm having varicocele on my right testicle is it safe to masturbate
Male | 19
Essentially, a varicocele occurs when the veins within the scrotum expand, causing them to fill with blood – but commonly without any symptoms. Some people might experience a kind of achy pain or heaviness. It is not harmful at all to masturbate when you have it. If the valves in the veins aren’t working properly this could lead to what causes them in most cases.

I have been feeling the urge to urinate frequently since yesterday. It feels like it will come out in my pants. I go back after urinating and it feels like it will come out in my pants
Male | 33
It appears that your urge to pee has intensified, and you are peeing more often, which is very uncomfortable. Key contributors are urinary tract infections, which result in bladder inflammation, and other factors, e.g., anxiety, can be mentioned. The best way to gain full hydration and avoidance of caffeine helps the illness. It is necessary to have a careful sense of your own needs. You can also consult a urologist if the symptoms persist or get worse.

I found one small brown thing in my urine. I'm not sure what it is. It didn't feel hurt or anything. What should I do?
Female | 18
The brown speck might be from not drinking enough water recently or eating foods that change color. It could also signal a urinary tract infection. The best plan is to drink plenty of water for the next day or two. If the brown bits persist or you experience pain, consult a urologist.
