Could I Be Pregnant After Anal Contact with No Ejaculation?

Hello mam .please help me . I'm in a helpless situation. I'm unmarried. On oct 24th there was an intercourse which includes no vaginal penetration no ejaculation no direct contact of genital parts. But it includes rubbing of anal region with penis. What is the chance of pregnancy with this act. Later on Nov 8th and Dec 6th she got her periods and they look like normal flow last for 3 days. A urine pregnancy test was done out of my curiosity on Dec 30 in the evening showed clear negative. Again on Jan 3rd she had periods but I don't know whether they are true menstrual periods. I'm worried about cryptic pregnancy. I can't even concentrate on any thing. Please give clarity on this.

Answered on 16th Jan '25

Based on your description, the chances of pregnancy from the activities you mentioned are extremely low, especially since there was no vaginal penetration or ejaculation. The normal menstrual cycles you’ve noted, along with a negative pregnancy test, suggest that pregnancy is unlikely. Cryptic pregnancies are rare, but if you're feeling uncertain, it's best to consult a sexologist for reassurance and any further evaluation. They can provide clarity and support tailored to your needs.

My boyfriend FTM has been taking hormone blockers (injections). I believe his sex drive / libido and intimacy levels have drastically changed , are there any ways of helping these side effects ? Or is there no hope for a sexual relationship

Other | 24

Hormonal blockers influence sexual gratification often. The hormonal levels are not the only ones affected by this medication, so your boyfriend can suffer from a decrease in libido. Consequently, communicating about the problem might be hard to do. To help, communication is key. Discussing emotions and looking for new ways to connect are the things that could help. Moreover, the health practitioner who specializes in hormone therapy can provide guidance and support and offer possible solutions.

Male | 25

If a condom breaks during sex, the act should be immediately stopped. Withdrawal, which is also known as decreasing the risk of STIs (STIs) and pregnancy, including HIV. STIs symptoms can be different though can still be noticeable such as uncommon discharge and itchiness. To lessen the likelihood of HIV being transferred, you might contemplate getting the morning-after pill (even though it is supposed to be taken the day or week it happened) or the morning-after pill and consulting with a medical practitioner for more real-time information and for testing options. I had taken Unwanted kit on January 12,still not periods yet. Before 3 days means February 2 I had unprotected sex, should I take any emergency contrapill for February 2 unprotected sex.?

Female | 24

It's understandable to feel concerned about your situation. If you had unprotected intercourse on February 2, taking emergency contraceptive pills is an option to prevent potential pregnancy, especially if it's within 72 hours. Since you haven't had your period after using the Unwanted kit on January 12, it’s also wise to monitor for symptoms of pregnancy. However, I strongly encourage you to consult with a healthcare provider, as they can offer personalized advice and ensure your health and well-being are prioritized. Remember, you're not alone, and professional guidance is available to support you.

Hello, Dr.! My girlfriend and I had a sexual encounter. We had oral sex and fingered each other. However, our genitals accidentally touched two or three times for a few seconds each. There was no penetration during the deed; just the Penis touched the vulva; there was no rubbing or ejaculating anywhere near her (I ejaculated 5-10 mins after the touching of our genitals). But I was scared because of the genital touching and fingering (I did not ejaculate on my hand and after ejaculation I did not touch her genitals and I did fingering before oral sex), so I began reading articles on the internet, and all of them stated that there is a chance of getting pregnant because pre-cum contains sperms. She also had her periods on June 10, 2022, and we were engaged in this action on June 19 , 2022. She also took an i-pill within 24 hours as a precaution. Is there any hope of becoming pregnant?

No chance of pregnancy

He cum in between my thighs and hand after rubbing his dick against my thigh without any direct contact and I also put hand little bit away from the vagina and after that I immediately wipe it off first and then washed it off immediately twice and I also took levenogestrel within 24 hours but the whole event was 4 days before my expected ovulation day. Is levenogestrel effective 3 days before expected ovulation day? Is there any risk of pregnancy?

Female | 24

One of the possible choices is levonorgestrel which can be a success as long as it is taken within 72 hours after unprotected sexual contact, especially if taken before ovulation. Nevertheless, if the event happened four days before ovulation, as you said, the successfulness may be decreased. The rapid reaction to the situation by means of wiping and washing may also reduce the risk but they are not completely effective. The signs which indicate the start of pregnancy are: delayed menstrual cycle, nausea and breast tenderness. For peace of mind, the better you have the pregnancy test if your period is late or go to the doctor for personalized advice.
