I had a new born babe right after the delivery I use vape and now my breast have no milk what can I do doctor
Female | 28
You have to stop using the vape immediately. Nicotine could prevent the production of milk and cause harm to your baby`s health. Consult with a specialist in lactation or gynecologist to help to enhance your milk production and the well-being of both you and your baby.

I am 20 years old girl.. I want to delay my periods for occasion, can you please suggest a medicine with prescription
Female | Ananya dey
It's so common that sometimes people want that. A medicine that is frequently used for such purposes is called norethisterone. It is capable of holding off your period for a short time. It is worth mentioning however that your period may be late when you stop taking the medicine. Always take such medicine prescribed by a gynecologist.

Did ultrasound scan at 17th week but no foetus was seen... So now any chance for pregnancy
Female | 23
During your 17-week ultrasound, no fetus was visible. This situation raises concerns, but don't panic immediately. An inaccurate pregnancy dating or potential miscarriage might explain the lack of a visible fetus. Discussing these findings with your gynecologist is crucial. They can advise the next steps and ensure you receive appropriate care.

I am 3 weeks pregnant. This is my 3rd pregnancy and my previous pregnancies were sound and i had normal delivery both times. Last 3 days i am having vaginal bleeding with clots and tissue like discharge. The color of blood is dark red or red-brown type. And my midwife says today that my cervix is 1cm open. I have another blood test today to make sure if i am pregnant or not, but it’s positive again. Right now i am having some financial challenges. I am feeling helpless. Please help me with your advice.
Female | 31
Bleeding with clots and tissue-like discharge, plus your cervix being partly open, is worrying. This could mean a miscarriage is happening. It's important to visit a gynecologist to figure out what's going on.

i am a 20 yr old female. i had my last period from 9-13 june, on 16th june i had unprotected sex and took an emergency pill- Unwanted72 within 2 hours. I have not yet gotten my periods, 2 days ago a pregnancy test which came negative. Although i’m 10 days late and have not yet gotten my periods. Should i be concerned? or is this normal?
Female | 20
The pill can sometimes interfere with the menstrual cycle, leading to a delayed period. Stress, weight, and diet changes, as well as hormonal problems, can also cause menstrual irregularities. You do not need to worry right now, you were not pregnant and it was less than a week ago.

I m 26 year old female. I m breastfeeding mother.... I have lot of pain in nipples during feeding and also pain after bath..what should I do ?
Female | 26
Yes, breastfeeding moms often experience breast pain. Discomfort during and after feeding and after a bath could be caused by thrush of the nipples or an incorrect latch while feeding. A cracked nipple could also be present. To ease the pain, make sure your baby is properly attached to the breast, keep your nipples dry and clean, and use a safe nipple cream. In case the pain does not go away, it is always better to consult a gynecologist for proper guidance.

Both ovaries are bulky in size (Right ovary measures approx 34 x 27 x 22 mm, vol : 12ml and Left ovary measures approx 42 x 38 x 23 mm, vol: 20ml) in shape and echotexture. Multiple peripherally arranged small follicles with central echogenic stroma noted in B/L Ovary. No adnexal mass lesion is seen. No free fluid is seen in Cul-de-Sac.
Female | 23
These changes are often due to hormone imbalances or diseases such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). You might experience irregular periods, pimples, or difficulty conceiving. Lifestyle modifications include healthy eating habits and physical activity. This can be useful in managing this condition; however, medicines may sometimes be required for hormonal regulation. Visit a gynecologist for further treatment.

Not having anti-D within 72 hours after an abortion may pose a potential threat to future pregnancies. If you are Rh-negative and the fetus is Rh-positive, you are at risk of complications. This mismatch can make your system generate antibodies that may interfere with future pregnancies of Rh-positive blood. You must visit your gynecologist the alternatives and the possible complications concerning your case. What are the potential alternatives that can be taken for a safer pregnancy?
Female | 24
In the case of the mother having Rh-negative blood and the baby Rh-positive blood, there are measures to ensure a safer pregnancy. One choice is the injection of a substance known as Rh immunoglobulin within 72 hours after some procedures, such as an abortion. In this way, your body will be prevented from producing dangerous antibodies. Such a therapy is essential in the possible protection of future pregnancies from any complications.

26 weeks pregnant and experiencing pain in lower abdomen after crying
Female | 35
Feeling lower abdominal pain after crying might be due to emotional stress causing muscle tension. It could also be related to Braxton Hicks contractions, round ligament pain from growing uterus, digestive issues, or uterine irritability. While mild discomfort might be normal, it's a good idea to consult your gynecologist.

My periods are delayed and we had sex from 31st October to 4th November.
Female | 25
Delayed in periods could be an indication of pregnancy. That should be confirmed with a pregnancy test. In case of a negative test, stress among other possible causes include weight changes and hormonal imbalances that can lead to delayed periods. It is recommended to visit a gynecologist for further diagnosis and management.

During early pregnancy, implantation bleeding may occur. The fertilized egg attaching to the uterus causes light spotting. Take a pregnancy test to know for certain. You can also visit a gynecologist.

I have a cyst on the bartholin gland i m 17 it s in the size of marble
Female | 17
You might have a cyst on the Bartholin gland, but that's not unusual. This small marble-like bump can happen, especially at your age. It may swell, hurt, or feel uncomfortable down there. Cysts form when the gland's duct gets blocked, letting fluid build-up. For small cysts without issues, warm baths and good hygiene may help. But if it gets bigger, painful, or affects daily life, see a gynecologist. They could drain the cyst or suggest other treatments for relief.

last month i started my periods on 1st march nd they lasted for 5 days i had unprotected sex on 7th march he did not ejaculate sperms inside me and now I’m 5 days late for period what are the chances of pregnancy
Female | 25
Getting pregnant is possible without sperm entering. You could experience missed periods, tiredness, sickness, or sore breasts if you're pregnant. Late periods don't always mean pregnancy, though. Stress and hormone changes can also cause them. If you're worried, take a home pregnancy test to feel better.

The situation is that the patient came to the doctor to change the Mirena spiral. The IUD Mirena was recommended by the attending gynecologist after surgery to remove an ovarian cyst and polyp. Diagnosis: adenomyosis (before surgery, the patient complained of heavy, non-painful menstrual bleeding). The first spiral lasted 5 years without problems. The gynecologist introduced a new IUD without first removing the old one. In connection with this situation, I have some questions. I would be grateful for your professional opinion. 1. Is it possible to correctly install the Mirena coil into the uterine cavity if the previous coil was not removed? 2. What side effects can be caused by the simultaneous presence of hormonal IUDs (two sterile foreign bodies) in the uterus. Could this cause health problems and harm to the patient? 3. How can one explain the symptoms that arose after the installation of the second Mirena, such as pain in the lower abdomen, lower back and excessive menstrual bleeding?
Female | 40
I would recommend that the new coil should not be inserted until the old one removed. This can result in problems such as perforation or infection. The presence of two hormonal IUDs in the uterus may cause hormonal imbalance and the risks of side effects. To treat the symptoms of lower abdominal pain, lower back pain, and heavy menstrual bleeding, consultation with a gynecologist who is an adenomyosis specialist is recommended.

I got my period on November 23rd and by December 11th I was bleeding again. I also have pains similar to those of menstruation.
Female | 31
Bleeding between menstrual cycles may be experienced due to a number of factors such as hormonal changes, stress, or some health conditions. Menstrual-like pain could be the most common symptom of the condition. It is of utmost significance to keep track of your symptoms, duration, as well as intensity. In case there is no change in the period or you would like some clarifications for your health issues, I would recommend you consult a gynecologist.

I 22 year old female had unprotected Intercourse on 3rd day of my periods and now after 5 days of this I am experiencing light blood Am I pregnant? Or is it just residual blood after period
Female | 22
The light bleeding you're experiencing could be due to various reasons. It might be passed blood from your period or implantation bleeding, which sometimes occurs in early pregnancy. Some typical first symptoms of pregnancy are nausea, tiredness, and sensitivity of the breast. If you're worried about being pregnant, a pregnancy test is a reliable method to find out. If you continue to have concerns or the bleeding persists, it's a good idea to talk to a gynecologist for more personalized guidance.

Stomach pain after taking abortion pills
Female | 18
Stomach aches can happen after taking abortion pills. The medications cause cramping to remove pregnancy tissue. This pain is like period cramps, from mild to severe. Put a heating pad on your lower belly to feel better. Drink warm drinks. Take over-the-counter pain meds like ibuprofen. But if the pain is bad or won't go away, contact your gynecologist.

Hi , i need advice . I am stressing myself very sick and need help for someone to tell me im actually okay and not needed to stress, my birth control showed me my due date for my period which was last month 29th of april, i was only one day late but then got my period i dont have symptoms but i feel sick now from stressing and i keep thinking myself pregnant , i dont know if it is period or spotting but my period lasted four days and was dark brown almost like black with little bit of dark and bright red blood inbetween so is it my period? i took clear blue test two weeks after my period and it said im not pregnant at all but is it true , did i take it too late? am i okay? is there any need to stress cause i cant stop myself from overthinking
Female | 16
It's understandable to feel anxious about your menstrual cycle, especially when you're experiencing stress and uncertainty. From what you've described, it sounds like you had a period, but slightly late. Periods can vary in color and consistency, and dark brown or black blood is normal at the beginning or end of your cycle. Taking a pregnancy test two weeks after your period is generally considered accurate. Clear blue tests are reliable when used correctly, so if they show negative results, it's likely right. However, if you're still feeling anxious, you can always take another test for peace of mind. Stressing yourself isn't beneficial for your overall well-being. It's essential to find ways to manage stress and focus on self-care. Remember, irregularities in your menstrual cycle can happen for various reasons, including stress. If you're still concerned or experiencing persistent symptoms, consider reaching out to a gynecologist for further guidance and support.
