My grandma was continuing dry coughing in two months home remedy and doctor consulting tablets are taking but no stop the cough so pls help me sir what happand and recovery the problem
Female | 65
A cough that is dry and lasts two months or more can be due to different factors. It's good that she is taking tablets and home remedies but if the cough still stays on, it would be best to consult a pulmonologist once again to have it properly diagnosed. Also, advise your grandma to drink lots of fluids, use a humidifier in the room, and if possible, turn her filled with irritants like smoke or dust.

I AM 19 YEARS OLD & I'M PATIENT OF TB THE MONTH OF 40 DAYS SO HOW CAN RECOVER MY CHEST TB WHEN MY COUGH IS TOO HIGH SO GOING PAIN IS MY FULL BODY
Female | 19
Chest TB is caused by bacteria that infect the lungs, leading to severe coughing and body pain. Recovery usually takes a few months with proper medication. It's crucial to take the medicines prescribed by your doctor every day for at least 6 months. Ensure you rest, eat well, and avoid close contact with others as TB is contagious. For the best care, please visit a pulmonologist.

Sir Yesterday I met a girl who had TB disease and talked to her for about 40 minutes. She even shouted once, "Do I have any chance of getting infected from her?" I was not there for more than 40 minutes.
Male | 22
The chances of catching TB from a brief interaction are low. Experts say TB is mainly contracted through prolonged close contact with someone who has active TB. Common symptoms include cough, weight loss, fever, and night sweats. To be safe, watch for these signs. If anything seems off, consult a pulmonologist.

I am having chest discomfort and wheezing which can be felt my me only and not heard out . And I am having shortness of breath
Female | 21
Asthma makes breathing difficult. Your airways become inflamed and swollen. You feel tightness in your chest. Wheezing sounds happen as air struggles to pass through narrow pipes. Using an inhaler opens the airways. This allows air to flow freely. Breathing becomes easier, and more comfortable. Seeing a pulmonologist can properly diagnose asthma. Proper treatment helps manage symptoms.

Shortness of breath may be caused by several different problems such as asthma or lung infections. For the time being, you can give him some over-the-counter medications such as an inhaler that will help him to breathe more easily. It is necessary to observe his symptoms, and in case it continue, consult a pulmonologist.

Remedy for severe asthmatic attack
Female | 38
Feeling an asthma attack is frightening. Your breaths shorten, wheezing comes, coughing increases, tightness squeezes your chest. Airways swell, becoming narrow during attacks. To ease severe attacks: inhale from a rescue inhaler, sit upright, stay calm. If symptoms don't improve quickly, seek emergency care immediately.

I am using beclomethasone dipropionate and levosalbutamol sulphate rotocaps for my asthama i have asthma since i was 3 years old and that much of long term i am using it from 5 months facing severe asthama and using the rotocaps in frequently and i am losing my body weight very fastly and it is very tough to me to gain weight and my penis size also decreasing and also sperm low quantity is that the side effects for using it in long term and tell me the perfect solution for all me questions to over come it and live healthy without medication
Male | 22
It appears that you may be experiencing some worrying side effects as a result of using beclomethasone dipropionate and levosalbutamol sulfate rotocaps for your asthma. Rapid weight loss, reduced penis size, and low semen volume can be linked to these drugs’ long-term usage. These particular adverse reactions are probably caused by the steroids contained in the medication affecting your system. Hence, you should inform your physician about them so they can prescribe you a more suitable treatment plan for your asthma which won’t have these effects. Besides, the doctor might also recommend ways of gaining weight and supporting overall well-being.

I need help with falling a sleep while having a cough
Female | 53
Falling asleep when coughing is hard. Coughs disrupt sleep by irritating airways. Cold, allergies, asthma – all potential culprits. Try elevating your head, using a humidifier, sipping warm honey tea. But if coughing persists, consult a pulmonologist. They'll provide appropriate advice based on your condition.

This is actually about my mother. 5 days ago, she started having these flu-like symptoms; coughing, extreme fatigue, phlegm, wheezing, headache, chills, and fever. The fever is now gone, but she still has all the other symptoms. She had a chest x-ray that came back perfectly fine, and tested negative for COVID, so it’s not that. She hasn’t really improved, but she hasn’t gotten worse either. Could this be the flu?
Female | 68
The best thing you can do is make your mother rest, take a lot of fluids, and use drugs that can relieve her of any symptoms that are associated with over-the-counter. Make sure she takes syrup, water, tea, etc. to keep herself hydrated especially since she might not have much desire for them due to coughs being experienced hence causing dry throat. Please visit a pulmonologist for further treatment.

Why is my cough somewhat black in colour...idid smoke in my past.
Male | 22
The tar and the other chemicals from smoking that are trapped in your lungs may cause you to have a black-colored cough. This means that the top layer of your lungs, which is trying to push out the harmful substances by coughing, is functioning properly. It's an indicator that the natural healing process of your body is working. To improve the condition of your lungs, it is critical to stop smoking and utilize water to clear out the tar that causes your cough.

I am 23 years old. I’ve been coughing for the last 3 weeks. Got consulted from doctor last week, diagnosed lung infection. All medications are finished include antibiotics. Currently didn’t take any medication and still coughing. Other symptoms, chest pain and fast breathing.
Female | 23
Based on what you’ve said, your persistent coughing, chest pain, and rapid breathing could point toward a long-term lung infection. In some cases, infections can still linger even after the antibiotics course is completed. Therefore, my advice is that you return to your pulmonologist for a check-up to ensure everything is fine and seek additional treatment if necessary.

Hi, my name is aiden i am 14 years old and I've been wondering if there something wrong with me when i lay down on my chest i find it a lil hard to breathe sometimes i wonder if its axizety or i might be overthinking but other then that ive been having axizety making it hard for me to sleep and i just feels like my eyes are close but im not getting any sleep what should i do
Male | 14
When you lay on your chest and it feels hard to get air in, that could be from anxiety. Anxiety also makes it difficult for people to sleep well at night. You can learn how to control your breathing when talking about it with them and other ways of calming down too if they know about it. Try doing things before going to bed like making a routine so that every time before sleep you will make sure that you get into bed more easily also practice good habits around sleep like not watching any screens an hour before bedtime because they keep awake longer which means fewer hours spent resting. If these symptoms stay or get worse then maybe it's time to see the doctor and tell them what’s been happening.

Male | 60
The saturation level of oxygen in your husband could signify a grave illness that is the root cause. He must visit a pulmonologist or an internist as soon as possible to diagnose the reason for his low oxygen levels and to provide effective treatment.

Hi Iam 26 years old and I’m having a severe cough and breathlessness , I have done a chest x ray and COVID RTPCR but nothing is in the reports ..but at night I’m suffering from cough and breathlessness
Male | 26
It is possible that you may have an underlying respiratory condition such as asthma or COPD that is causing your symptoms. You should see a doctor for a more thorough evaluation and to discuss treatment options. It is also possible that your symptoms could be caused by allergies or other environmental triggers. An allergist or pulmonologist can help you identify the underlying cause of your symptoms and develop an effective treatment plan.

Shortness of breath whenever coughing Dry cough Fever immediately after cough Cough not constant Cough comes and go
Male | 35
If you start to cough, become breathless soon after, and get a fever with a dry cough, that might be the reason for lung infections like pneumonia. The cough might happen periodically. These germs such as bacteria and viruses are to blame for it. Taking rest, drinking enough fluids, and talking to a doctor for help are the treatment steps which can include antibiotics if it is bacterial. Be sure to get a lot of rest and drink plenty of fluids.

You're struggling with symptoms such as bloody mucus when coughing, nasal congestion, and respiratory difficulties. These signs may indicate a lung infection, rhinitis, or even a serious disease. It's essential to visit a gynecologist promptly to get a valid diagnosis and a treatment plan. Do not delay going to the hospital if your symptoms worsen.
