Hello. I'm 18, Male, 169cm, 59kg. Today I saw and felt this small lump right on my sternum. I don't smoke nor drink and don't have any current medications. It doesn't hurt and it's actually hard, just like any bone, you can't move it or anything. What might it be? cause I've been pretty scared and worried.

A small, hard lump on the sternum could be a normal bone anatomy, benign or malignant tumors, cysts, lipomas, or inflammation of the chest cartilage. Consult with a specialist for an accurate diagnosis and personalized guidance. They can perform an examination and order additional tests if needed.

Hello my mother recently has been in a lot of pain and has been having these attacks and her vision has been completely blurred. She ended up finding out she had really high glucose . She’s been starving herself and not eating lately because she’s scared . Is there any advice you could possibly give me to help my mother out?
Female | 40
It's important that your mother immediately gets an endocrinologist who can attend to her signs and symptoms. High blood sugar levels may point to diabetes that cannot be controlled and needs to be adequately controlled.

Hello! After a common cold I have tinnitus. My doctor said the ear nerve is the problem and made a therapy plan with infusions of antibiotics and dexametason for 5 days. After the 2nd one there is no improvement. Im not sure if this is the right therapy for my problem
Female | 18
It should be noted that tinnitus may manifest itself after a cold because of the inflammation in the middle ear. But the treatment plan that you offer seems adequate. In this regard, it is recommended to have all the antibiotics and dexamethasone. In case of absence of any improvements, you should see your ENT specialist for additional evaluation and treatment.

Hi, my daughter (18 yrs) noticed a nodule towards the back of her neck below her right ear, about 4 days back. It has since developed into a sore throat and productive cough. Please advise a suitable remedy. Thank you!

It could be a lymph node or a cyst, and a sore throat and cough could be unrelated or just the symptoms of a contraction. Please talk to a ENT doctor

it would be wise to get a checkup from a physician. They can do that by identifying the cause of your cough. For instance, if the reason causing your cough is a chest infection, a doctor can give you antibiotics or suggest over the counter cough suppressants.

Do I need to go to the ER if I can't find my earring in my ear?
Female | 16
No, you do not have to go to the ER only because your earring can't find in there. Most probably, the earring fell off by itself. But you need to visit an ENT physician if and when there is pain, swelling, or discharge.

I have a swollen bump at the top of my bottom

The cyst may be the cause of the symptoms you have, as it seems to be the case. This is a type of cyst that evolves at the top of a buttock and it is very painful and may result in infection. It's vital to see a GP, who can accurately diagnose and treat this condition; either a General or a colorectal surgeon.
