What Should I Do If My STD Symptoms Persist?
Hello, i’m a 23 year old male and i would like to speak to a urologist because i think i might have an std. I have taken various std tests and all my results came back negative, my family doctor prescribed a couple antibiotics (cefixime, nitrofurantoin, levofloxacin and ofloxacin) for the symptoms but it only suppresses it for a while before it flares up again. What do i do now ?

Hello, it's important to follow up with a urologist if your symptoms persist despite negative STD tests and antibiotic treatment. A urologist can provide specialized care for your condition and might conduct further tests to identify the underlying issue.

When one has a UTI, they might experience pain or a burning sensation during urination. It occurs when bacteria get into the bladder or urethra and multiply. Make sure to keep taking the prescribed antibiotics until they are finished even if you start feeling better. Also, ensure that you drink a lot of water to drive out these germs from your body. If the signs continue after some days, visit a urologist for a further checkup.

Penis me eraction nahi ata kya ise thik kiya ja sakta hai ?
Male | 39
If you're experiencing difficulty getting erections, consult a local urologist to determine the cause. Lifestyle changes like quitting smoking and moderating alcohol intake if you do, maintaining a healthy weight, and exercising can help. Managing stress and anxiety, and seeking therapy if needed can also make a positive impact.

I am facing painful urination as well as I am getting multiple flow of urine. Most of the time it happens after masturbation. What should I do?
Male | 26
Urethritis is a condition where the pee tube gets irritated. It can cause painful peeing. Multiple trickles of pee might happen too. Masturbating likely irritates it more. Drink lots of water. Avoid spicy foods and other irritants. Give yourself a break from masturbating. See if things improve. If not, you may need to see a urologist. They can help further.

I had some white patches in my penis. Does it need to be treated or does it heal itself? I have phimosis also which I don't know if i should stretch the foreskin everyday to potentially cure it.

White patches on your genitals can be a sign of fungal infection or certain conditions like psoriasis or lichen planus. It is vital that you seek professional medical help from a dermatologist or a urologist to get properly diagnosed and treatments done.

Right side spermatic cord funiculitis
Male | 20
Spermatic cord inflammation is one of the diseases that can cause discomfort, swelling, and localized pain on the affected side. Common causes of infections include bacteria and viruses (causing most of the infections) and a few fungi and parasites. Analgesics, which are available without a prescription, can be of assistance in reducing the flu effects, however, staying in bed and abstaining from hard activities are the critical parts. If there are any disease symptoms or they aggravate, I advice you to consult a urologist.

I am also suffering from frequent & incomplete urination in the night, and have been diagnosed with BPH, wherein the urine comes out in a trickle, and I am unable to empty the bladder. This causes sleep deprivation. I am suffering this since long. In this case also I have tried many medicines, and now I am taking 1 tablet after breakfast and 1 in night. I have tested positive for prostate enlargement , and PSA tests are. negative. The last sonography test in February 2021, has shown prostate @40 gms Tablet Dynapres 0.4 1-0-0 Tablet Max Void 8 0-0-1
Male | 66
More detailed history and tests like Uroflowmetry and Ultrasound with Post void residual measurement will give accurate diagnosis. If it’s BPH only and not improving with medicines then might need a surgical treatment. There could be other reasons like urethral stricture or high bladder neck which is also dealt surgically.

Why can i not pull my foreskin back
Male | 17
Sometimes your foreskin might be difficult to pull back. This happens when the opening is too tight, called phimosis. You could feel pain or discomfort trying to retract it. If so, see a urologist - they may suggest gentle stretching or medication.

I am feeling a vibration sensation in the penis. The vibration occurs and stops and it again happens.....this is happening for few hours now ...what should I do
Male | 20
Feeling a vibrating sensation in your penis can be an issue. This may be because of a treatment called penile vibratory stimulation. You may feel the pressure if you have been in a sitting position for too long or if there is pressure on the pelvic area. Give it a try - stand up and move around, or change your position. If the sensation persists or turns into pain, you should consult a urologist.

These could be signs of an infection or inflammation in the genital area. Consult a doctor to properly diagnose and treat your condition. They may recommend further urine sample or swab test, to identify the cause. It is not recommended to self medicate or rely solely on antibiotics without proper medical guidance

I have sexuality problems since childhood as a boy. My testes and penis are way smaller compared to my colleagues. I am weaker and not physically fit as a man. I usually like female domination, I have had erectal problems since I became sexually active, I lose erection or ejaculate quickly. I don’t feel confident now going close to women .My research shows I might have low testosterone from birth?
Male | 33
It is vital to have a conversation with the urologist or the endocrinologist if you experience doubts related to your sexual development and functioning. They may recommend tests which can show you if you have a low testosterone or some medical conditions. It's generally considered safe and does not have any adverse effects on physical or mental health. Firstly, approximately 20 years ago, I experienced a significant shoulder impact while playing football, resulting in a sprain that extends from my neck to the back of my shoulder. Whenever I engage in physical activity, particularly on the injured right shoulder side, I feel a burning sensation accompanied by heat. Additionally, I've noticed that my right hip appears elevated since the injury. In a previous scan, I discovered a left-sided disc prolapse. Moreover, I occasionally experience sprains in the middle of my back. I have not been taking any medications for this issue as previous doctors have been unable to identify the problem. I am concerned about the long-term implications and would greatly appreciate your expertise in evaluating and providing guidance on the appropriate course of action. Are there any specific tests or examinations that you recommend to better understand the underlying causes and potential treatment options for my shoulder, hip, and back issues? Furthermore, I recently discovered that I have kidney stones in both of my kidneys. I do not have diabetes or high blood pressure, and I am not diagnosed with arthritis. Additionally, I have been informed that I have elevated uric acid levels. Considering these multiple health concerns, I am wondering if blood tests or any other diagnostic tests would be beneficial in identifying any potential connections between these issues and guiding the most appropriate treatment plan.
Male | 44
To address your musculoskeletal concerns consult an orthopedic specialist. They would recommend imaging studies, physical therapy, and medications as needed. For your kidney stones and elevated uric acid, seek guidance from a urologist nearest to you or a nephrologist who can perform diagnostic tests. I suggest to follow certain dietary changes, and monitor your kidney health. Open communication with your specialists for a tailored treatment plan for your multiple health concerns.
