What's the best treatment for Male Overactive Bladder?
Hello, what’s the effective treatment of Overactive bladder in men?
Urologist
Answered on 23rd July '24
Overactive bladder makes men want to pee constantly. The bladder muscles squeeze too much, making you run to the bathroom frequently. Peeing a little bit can even happen unexpectedly. Nerve issues or an enlarged prostate gland may cause this problem. To treat it, you can do exercises for the pelvic muscles or learn bladder training techniques. Medicines that relax the bladder muscle are available too. Staying away from caffeine and other lifestyle adjustments may help control symptoms.

Hi, I am facing penis foreskin retracting issue. Not able to retract it. Also it is generating while substance under forskin. Can I use betnovat-n cream on forehead of penis
Male | 25
I advise you not to use the Betwonat-N cream on the foreskin of the penis. Foreskin retracting problem affects many males and therefore, you need to consult with a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment. The white substance underneath the foreskin might be smegma, but this can be treated with good personal hygiene practices. Hence, you should see a urologist for a follow-up evaluation and develop a detailed treatment strategy.

Sometimes after I masturbate I get an urge to pee which lasts from half an hour to an hour. And when I pee I feel burning sensation.

This could be due to irritation of the urinary tract. Masturbation can sometimes lead to increased blood flow and stimulation in the genital area. To address this, it's advisable to drink plenty of water to flush out any irritants and consult with a urologist. Firstly, approximately 20 years ago, I experienced a significant shoulder impact while playing football, resulting in a sprain that extends from my neck to the back of my shoulder. Whenever I engage in physical activity, particularly on the injured right shoulder side, I feel a burning sensation accompanied by heat. Additionally, I've noticed that my right hip appears elevated since the injury. In a previous scan, I discovered a left-sided disc prolapse. Moreover, I occasionally experience sprains in the middle of my back. I have not been taking any medications for this issue as previous doctors have been unable to identify the problem. I am concerned about the long-term implications and would greatly appreciate your expertise in evaluating and providing guidance on the appropriate course of action. Are there any specific tests or examinations that you recommend to better understand the underlying causes and potential treatment options for my shoulder, hip, and back issues? Furthermore, I recently discovered that I have kidney stones in both of my kidneys. I do not have diabetes or high blood pressure, and I am not diagnosed with arthritis. Additionally, I have been informed that I have elevated uric acid levels. Considering these multiple health concerns, I am wondering if blood tests or any other diagnostic tests would be beneficial in identifying any potential connections between these issues and guiding the most appropriate treatment plan.
Male | 44
To address your musculoskeletal concerns consult an orthopedic specialist. They would recommend imaging studies, physical therapy, and medications as needed. For your kidney stones and elevated uric acid, seek guidance from a urologist nearest to you or a nephrologist who can perform diagnostic tests. I suggest to follow certain dietary changes, and monitor your kidney health. Open communication with your specialists for a tailored treatment plan for your multiple health concerns.

Does masturbation causes following problem? Will I face it if I've been frequently masturbating since 13 and now I'm 23 year old? I read this in some article that said - "The prostate is a gland located exactly in the neck of the bladder, it secretes a whitish and viscous liquid that serves as a vehicle for sperm. This gland normally completes its development by the age of 21. When a young man masturbates before completing his development (21 years), the prostate atrophies, causing prostatitis after the age of 40, which is the enlargement of this gland that prevents him from urinating and he has to use the probe to do so. Later they have to operate and remove this gland." Should I worry? Please tell me.
