If you have been treated for syphilis but are still testing positive and experience certain symptoms, follow up with your gynecologist. May be the infection has not been fully treated and hence the symptoms are showing up. Additional testing and treatment would be necessary to manage your symptoms and prevent other complications.

I got my period on January 26th and it lasted for about 5 days . Then on 2nd of Feb i had unprotected sex in which ejaculation did not happen but I still took an i pill on 4th of Feb. In that week I had vaginal spotting for about two days. On 26th Feb i had sex where the contraceptive broke but still there was no ejaculation and I took an i pill again on 27th Feb. I have not got my period. Is there a chance I might be pregnant

Female | 20

Pregnancy odds drop when there's no ejaculation. However, those emergency pills could shift your cycle timing. Stress, sickness, hormones - any of those factors may delay periods too. To soothe concerns, consider a home pregnancy test for confirmation.

Infertility problem Have been trying to get pregnant since last year after treating pid and it’s becoming impossible for me

Female | 25

In this case, you should see a fertility specialist who would diagnose and treat the problem. There is a possibility that your reproductive system was damaged by past cases of PID which caused infertility.

I am 24f, got diagnosed with pcod on 2 dec. I was prescribed primolut n twice a day for 3 days and myo insitol and prenatal medicine. I am not pregnant but I haven't gotten my periods it's been 9 days after stopping primolut n and 2 days since stopping other medicine. Why am I still not getting my periods?

Female | 24

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a disease that can lead to the abnormality of the cycle. It can be because of hormonal imbalances. Primolut N helps regulate periods, but after stopping, your body may take some time to readjust. The delay may be stressed by varied factors like tension, changes in lifestyle, or individual peculiarity of the body. I am prescribing the patients to suffer a healthy lifestyle in the form of balanced nutrition and leukoplakia.

I have missed my periods for 4 months and my stomach has become tight and bigger but I am not constipated. What should I do now?

Female | 39

If you miss your period for 4 months straight and notice a bloated bigger belly, you might be pregnant. Alternatively, it might be due to hormonal imbalance or other medical problems. To confirm, take a home pregnancy test. If results are negative, visit a doctor for further investigation.

My period was due on November 4th And never showed.. it still wasn’t around by the 4th. so I had unprotected sex for the first time. And now I’m worried and don’t know what to do if my period doesn’t show up.

Female | 16

It is necessary to take a pregnancy test if you had unprotected sexual intercourse and the delay of your period occurs. While a negative result and the absence of your period require an additional check with consulting either gynecologists or obstetricians. They can determine if there is an underlying condition responsible for the delay and offer adequate treatment

I began taking the contraceptive pill Hana on 8th June before my period has started and wanted to know how long before I am protected

Female | 31

When you start taking the contraceptive pill, there’s something you should know: it won’t protect you right away. It takes about seven days to start working. While you’re waiting for it to kick in, make sure to use an extra form of protection such as condoms so that pregnancy doesn’t occur. Some people may get mild side effects like headaches or feeling sick when they first try this type of birth control but these usually go away with time if taken properly.

Is PCOS stomach pain normal during cardio exercise?

Female | 16

PCOS causes stomach pain during cardio exercise. The pain feels like a dull ache. Hormone imbalances in your body lead to this. Additionally, small cysts develop on the ovaries. Walking or swimming, low-impact exercises can reduce this pain. Instead of high-intensity cardio, these are better.

Female | 19

Taking the i-pill might result into hormonal disturbances in your body which in turn might disrupt your menstrual cycle. It is always recommendable that you see your doctor before taking any drugs for contraception purposes.
