The treatment for a 10 mm ureteric stone (also known as a kidney stone) depends on various factors as to where the stone is present your health overall, etc. There are different approaches available for stone removal, including:
1. Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL): This procedure uses sound waves to break the stone into smaller pieces that can be passed through the urine.
2. Ureteroscopy with Laser Lithotripsy: A thin tube (ureteroscope) is inserted through the urethra and bladder to reach the stone. Laser energy is then used to break the stone into smaller fragments for removal.
3. Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL): This is a minimally invasive surgical procedure where a small incision is made in the back to access the kidney and remove the stone.

Hi . My dad had a urine culture, and it revealed a 'Pseudomonas aeruginosa' infection. How serious is this infection, and can it spread to others in the surrounding people.
Male | 69
For people with impaired immune systems, pseudomonas aeruginosa infection can lead to pronounced symptoms. Others in close contact with the infected person may then get an infection. In this case, I would advise a referral to the urologist for further assessment and management.

Mam i had an un protective exposure before 8 months with a married person after 6 months from the exposure i had a penil discharge and pain while urinating symptoms found and i tested all std panel test its all showing negative results but still i have pain on penis please help me with this concern
Male | 30
If you have pain and discharge from your penis, that might be due to an infection. Sometimes those infections (like urinary tract infections or prostatitis) don’t show up on STD tests. It’s important to have a full check with a urologist and maybe some other tests to work out what’s going on. Once we know what’s wrong some treatments work well.

Good day, can years of masturbating cause permanent penis damage? Also can it cause venous leak? Or can it permanently damage penis tissue or muscles? I realize that I’m having difficulties maintaining an erection during sex. What should I do?
Male | 24
Masturbation is normal and healthy sexual activity for most people and normally does not cause permanent damage to the penis. But excessive or aggressive masturbation may lead to temporary discomfort, such as soreness. Its impt to practice moderation and use lubrication if needed to avoid excessive friction.

Pain and swelling in left testicle could be due to: 1. Testicular torsion - emergency situation, need to see a doctor. 2. Epididymitis - could be caused by a bacterial infection. 3. Varicocele - dilated veins in the scrotum, usually doesn't need treatment. 4. Testicular cancer - rare, but could be a concern.. 5. Inguinal hernia - could cause swelling in the groin area. How do I increase may penile length using stem cell method. My penis size is my greatest insecurity and I would like to increase it's size using natural method as I don't want to take pills or enlargement surgeries. I have heard and read that by using stem cell you can enlarge your penile length. Please advise me as how to undergo this method.
Male | 18
The use of stem cells for penile enlargement is still considered experimental and may not be widely available or approved for routine use. If you have concerns about your penile size, it's essential to consult with a urologist or specialist in sexual health for professional guidance and information on potential treatment options.

Firstly, approximately 20 years ago, I experienced a significant shoulder impact while playing football, resulting in a sprain that extends from my neck to the back of my shoulder. Whenever I engage in physical activity, particularly on the injured right shoulder side, I feel a burning sensation accompanied by heat. Additionally, I've noticed that my right hip appears elevated since the injury. In a previous scan, I discovered a left-sided disc prolapse. Moreover, I occasionally experience sprains in the middle of my back. I have not been taking any medications for this issue as previous doctors have been unable to identify the problem. I am concerned about the long-term implications and would greatly appreciate your expertise in evaluating and providing guidance on the appropriate course of action. Are there any specific tests or examinations that you recommend to better understand the underlying causes and potential treatment options for my shoulder, hip, and back issues? Furthermore, I recently discovered that I have kidney stones in both of my kidneys. I do not have diabetes or high blood pressure, and I am not diagnosed with arthritis. Additionally, I have been informed that I have elevated uric acid levels. Considering these multiple health concerns, I am wondering if blood tests or any other diagnostic tests would be beneficial in identifying any potential connections between these issues and guiding the most appropriate treatment plan.
Male | 44
To address your musculoskeletal concerns consult an orthopedic specialist. They would recommend imaging studies, physical therapy, and medications as needed. For your kidney stones and elevated uric acid, seek guidance from a urologist nearest to you or a nephrologist who can perform diagnostic tests. I suggest to follow certain dietary changes, and monitor your kidney health. Open communication with your specialists for a tailored treatment plan for your multiple health concerns.

I have been suffering from Epididyimitis since 2022.I had taken some medication from some hospitals but all went in vain. I still feel pain in epididyimis. Would you support me.
Male | 21
Your Epididymis pain indicates inflammation. Epididymitis often brings scrotal pain, swelling, redness. Bacterial infections usually cause it. To end the pain, your doctor may prescribe targeted antibiotics for the bacteria. It's crucial to keep seeking medical help to find the right treatment approach.

please I feel pains in the root of my penis I don't know what is it
Male | 24
Tenderness, swelling, or a burning sensation may be the most common over expressions. It's important to avoid self-diagnosing; containing the identification of new symptoms such as the appearance of odd secretion or symptoms of infections like fever makes early diagnosis of the root cause the prevailing one in patients. However, I suggest you to consult a urologist for proper treatment.

Foreskin of Penis not retracting back
Male | 43
Sometimes the skin covering the penis can get tight. We call this phimosis. With this, pulling back the foreskin feels very hard. It makes cleaning difficult. And during an erection, it can hurt. To help, gently stretch the skin when bathing in warm water. But if this doesn't fix things, see a urologist.

Sir, I am having UTI frequently. Iam experiencing chills for the the last two days and some bleeding is also seen. I am also a diabetic patient on metformin 1000mg twicw a day. Also on anti glucoma drops.
Female | 53
You might have a UTI. Frequent urination, chills, and blood could mean bacteria entered your urinary tract. Diabetes and some medcines raise UTI risk. Be sure to see a urologist quickly for antibiotics to treat the infection and avoid problems.

I want to know about phimosis
Male | 23
Phimosis is a condition where the foreskin on a boy's penis becomes too tight and won't retract. It can make urinating tricky, trigger swelling, or cause pain. Usually, it stems from the foreskin failing to stretch properly during growth. Often, circumcision solves it – that's a simple surgery removing the overly-snug foreskin. Getting medical help is crucial if you or someone you care about faces these issues.

I am feeling a vibration sensation in the penis. The vibration occurs and stops and it again happens.....this is happening for few hours now ...what should I do
Male | 20
Feeling a vibrating sensation in your penis can be an issue. This may be because of a treatment called penile vibratory stimulation. You may feel the pressure if you have been in a sitting position for too long or if there is pressure on the pelvic area. Give it a try - stand up and move around, or change your position. If the sensation persists or turns into pain, you should consult a urologist.

For 2 years I've been having symptoms of painful ejaculations - it feels like my urethra closes for a few seconds while I ejaculate, I start feeling pain and after that semen comes out. Sometimes, after ejaculation there's a bit of blood. I've done tests for sperm and urine and they're clean, no UTIs, infections or STDs, and my prostate is not enlarged. I've been to multiple doctors and they all prescribe antibiotics which don't help at all, ever - no change of symptoms from antibiotics. The only pill that ever helped (briefly) was betamsal (tamsulosin). After ejaculation, peeing sometimes is painful and slow.
Male | 30
You are having some problems with ejaculation, sometimes experiencing pain and even blood afterward. Even though your tests are negative, such symptoms might be caused by other conditions such as urethral stricture or pelvic floor dysfunction. These conditions can sometimes be unnoticed in routine checkups. Go to a urologist for further assessment and possibly get some treatments that are specifically designed for your condition.

Now from yesterday, I’m facing very much stomach pain. It feels like everything is burning. I’m also feel pain and little uncomfortable during my body movements. Can anyone tell me the reason for these problems?
Female | 26
A urinary tract infection (UTI) could have spread to your kidneys. UTIs happen when bacteria enter the urinary tract. They can make urination burn. You may have to urinate often. There can be abdominal pain too. Kidney infections bring severe stomach pain and discomfort. To prevent complications, drink lots of water. Take all your prescribed medications as directed. But you should see a urologist for proper treatment.
