It's understandable to feel concerned about hair loss, especially during stressful periods. Factors such as stress, nutritional deficiencies, or hormonal changes can contribute to this issue. Encourage your brother to maintain a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly those that promote hair health like biotin, zinc, and omega-3 fatty acids. Practices such as regular exercise, adequate sleep, and mindfulness techniques can also help manage stress. While these steps may be beneficial, it's important to seek guidance from a dermatologist for a thorough evaluation and personalized recommendations.

Pimple in my private part
Female | 25
Most of the time, these boils are a consequence of the blockage of oil glands or the follicles of the hair. They are occasionally itchy or even painful. Be sure to keep the area clean and resist the temptation to pop the pimple. Also, wear pajamas that are loose-fitted and soaps that are gentle. It's still there or even worsening, you should consult a dermatologist.

Itching and redness between thighs
Male | 33
There can be many reasons for this. It could be due to heat, sweat, or friction. Skin usually rubs against each other whe you walk or do any activity, and wearing tight clothes can further increase friction. Wearing loose clothing can help this problem. You should also keep yourself dry and use mild soap and pat dry your thighs after taking a bath. But if the itchiness and redness don't go away, talk to a dermatologist.

I am having a small lump behind my ear just noticed right now the size is small
Female | 18
Discovery of a small lump behind your ear is a cause of some concern but on the other hand, the realization that you have noticed it is great news. Swelling in the lymph nodes might be a cause, which is enough to say that your body is under attack by infections. The increase in size may also be due to cysts, or skin conditions, such as fatty lumps. If there is no improvement or even if you get other symptoms, the best advice is to visit a dermatologist for a check to be on the safe side.

What should I do if my nipples in my breast have small pimples in my mouth and if I press a little it comes out white?
Female | 22
You may experience tiny bumps on your nipples that discharge white fluid when pressed. This condition, known as nipple acne, is widespread and typically harmless. The white substance comprises oil and dead skin cells. To address this, maintain cleanliness and dryness of the area, wear loose-fitting garments, and avoid harsh soap products. However, if the issue persists or worsens, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist for personalized guidance.

I am 27 year old I have mouth sore more than 1 months Before I used have digestive issues. I have enough vitamin b12 Can you tell me what are the reason for mouth sore
Male | 26
Mouth ulcers persisting for over a month can be a result of several possible causes such as viral infections, stress, or dietary deficiencies. The usual symptoms categories are: painful ulcers, swelling, and occasionally eating difficulties. Good oral hygiene, as well as over-the-counter local treatments, may help alleviate discomfort. It is better to avoid spicy or acidic foods. Since you have been filing for digestive discomfort, it's recommended that you keep a record of any potential triggers. But, because these sores are continuing to exist, I strongly suggest that you go to a dermatologist and get a full check-up and a plan of action based on your condition.

I am a male 17 year old almost I suddenly was showering and checked a bump when I was checking groin area lower abdomen left side and upper part of groin area I found something that is 1 cm and I can feel it? And I checked on other side but it was very small I can feel it but not as outer side as on left side is this inguinal lymph node? Or something serious I am very tensed feeling so scared what is it , I also had ultrasound a month ago of whole abdomen I don't think it was found or seen it that because it's in lower abdomen
Male | 17
The lump you are sensing in your groin region might be an engorged inguinal lymph node. Lymph nodes can get bigger due to different reasons like a cold or a sore. Most of the time, they return to their normal size without any intervention. Mind it, if the situation gets worse, you might experience pain and other signs like fever, do visit a dermatologist.

Depending on what you are describing, it may be a type of skin disorder called vitiligo. With vitiligo, the cells that make the pigment in the skin are destroyed through the melanocyte process, thereby producing white spots on the skin. It is always best to book an appointment with a dermatologist.

Male | 2.5
It's common for some swelling or irritation to occur following a circumcision. This could be from the healing process, friction, or even minor infections. Symptoms might include redness, tenderness, or slight discharge. Keeping the area clean and using a gentle moisturizer can help soothe the discomfort. However, if inflammation persists or worsens, it's important to consult a dermatologist for a thorough evaluation. While low vitamin D or anemia might contribute to skin issues, other causes like sun exposure and skin conditions should be considered. In the meantime, maintain a balanced diet and protect your skin from excessive sun exposure.

Female | 35
It sounds like you're experiencing melasma, a common condition often worsened by hormonal changes during pregnancy. This can result in dark patches and increased sensitivity, causing redness in your cheeks. I recommend consulting a dermatologist who can assess your skin and suggest effective treatments, such as prescription creams or gentle peels, tailored to your needs. In the meantime, using broad-spectrum sunscreen daily can help protect your skin.

I have green at top of my nail and redness I put sudocream on it to see if it helps as I have no other cream atm will it help I’ve put plater on it as well
Female | 18
Your fingernail infection is likely. The bacteria may be causing the green hue. The inflammation can result in swelling and pain. Sudocream may not be effective in treating the infection. Use a plaster to cover the spot for protection. Gently wash the area with warm water, apply antibiotic ointment, and cover it up. If things get worse, see a dermatologist.

I am a 33-year-old man, and I donated blood on January 20th. After the donation, A small, light brown dot appeared on the area where the needle was inserted. I’ve donated blood 5 times so far, and no such dots have appeared before. When I asked the blood bank about it, they told me that it would disappear on its own. However, it still hasn’t completely faded. It has been 52 days so far. My questions are: Will this dot take more days or months to completely fade? Is this normal, or should I be worried?
Male | 33
It’s understandable to be concerned about the appearance of a dot after your blood donation. Such marks can result from minor bruising or the body's response to the needle. Typically, these spots fade within a few weeks, but occasionally, they may linger longer. Since you’ve noticed it for 52 days, it’s advisable to monitor it. If you experience any changes, such as increasing size, pain, or redness, please consult a dermatologist for an in-person evaluation. Generally, these skin changes resolve without complications, but a doctor can provide reassurance and further guidance.

Female | 19
It’s understandable to feel concerned about tenderness and any changes in your breasts. Fluctuations in hormonal levels, common around your menstrual cycle, can lead to sensitivity and minor lumps. Sometimes, these changes may also relate to normal breast tissue development. However, it’s essential to monitor your symptoms. If discomfort persists or worsens, or if you notice significant changes, please consult a healthcare professional for a thorough examination. They can provide personalized care and reassurance.
