suffered chicken guneya 2 months ago..got treatment & relieved ..now again symptoms of chickenguneya been observed.
Male | 25
It is possible that a second episode can occur if you are still weak. The indications comprise fever, joint pain, muscle pain, headache, nausea, and rash. The primary source is getting bitten by a mosquito carrying the virus. Instead, to aid in easing the conditions, it is necessary to slow down, drink enough fluids, and use painkillers. In case the symptoms are getting worse, or last for a longer time, please get medical treatment.

Consultation with a healthcare provider is necessary to establish the etiology. A gynecologist can be of assistance with the menopausal symptoms while a general physician can determine other conditions causing those signs.

Hello. I want to ask about the risks of taking a free blood glucose test in a health fair. How high is the risk of transmitting a disease from it? Thank you.
Other | 15
The chance of carrying a disease from a free blood sugar test taken at a health fair in most cases is small. However, it is of utmost importance that hygiene and sterilization be observed in the testing process. If you have any concerns about symptoms after a test or, in the future, visit an endocrinologist for guidance and treatment.

Jab bhi mai cold chije jaise iceream, curd, chilled water, rice, etc khati hu to pure body me sujan dikhta hai. 3-4 kg weight badha hua dikhta hai. Fir 24hour baad thik ho jata hai. What is it?
Female | 33
It's possible that you might be experiencing an allergic reaction or some form of food intolerance. When you consume cold items your body may react to certain components in these foods, leading to swelling and water retention, which could temporarily increase your weight. This kind of reaction can vary from person to person and can range from mild to severe.

There is a pain from back to toe at one side of the body and it’s been more than a month went to orthopaedic but says b12 deficiency is there had those b12 medicine and then ayurveda but still no recovery shows to me .
Male | 22
It's frustrating to experience prolonged discomfort for over a month. One-sided body pain is indeed challenging. The culprit, potentially, could be a B12 deficiency affecting nerve function. While you followed prescribed treatment, recovery may take time. Consistently adhere to your doctor's guidance. Explore complementary options like stretching exercises or physical therapy.

I am 32 years old taking combined oral contraceptive marvelon for 3 years to control periods. 4 weeks ago i complained of severe palpitations and breathlessness rushing me to ER. All tests there were normal. I developed severe sore throat 4 days after onset of palpitations. Till now i have alternating symptoms of sore throat versus palpitations and breathlessness. Thyroid tests cbc d dimer and ecg and echo all normal. Crp was 99 now its 15 and symptoms are intermittent in nature. What to do next
Female | 32
The normal initial tests and reduced CRP levels indicate progress. However, alternating symptoms suggest a possible viral infection. Consulting your doctor for further assessment could provide clarity.

So I had sepsis back in August of 2023 I have fully recovered since then and was wondering is it safe to get a piercing
Female | 19
It is recommended to wait at least a year after recovering from sepsis before getting a piercing. This is to ensure that your immune system has fully recovered and can handle any potential infections. It is also advised to consult with an immunologist or infectious disease specialist before getting a piercing to ensure that it is safe for you.

I stood and did around house so much without a break and Im qlso on my period nad didnt sleep well for days. I have mobitz II sometimes too. Im worried that I will die from overexertion
Female | 24
Doing more than you can afford, especially with your weight, sleep apnea, and heart problems, can be dangerous. Overexertion symptoms are fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain, and dizziness. First of all, take it easy and take plenty of time to relax, drink water, and avoid strenuous activities. Alternate between working and taking a break as your energy and effectiveness wanes and waxes.
