Why do I have testicle and thigh pain?
I am 21 year old I am having testicle pain along with inner thigh pain upto buttocks which increases on masturbating
Urologist
Answered on 28th Oct '24
Testicular and inner thigh pain that becomes sharper during masturbation is likely to be a condition called epididymitis. This is when there is an inflammation of the tube behind the testicle. Hence, the primary procedure is to reduce the frequency of masturbation and visit a urologist for a medical examination. They can provide you with the surest way of treatment, enabling you to be out of pain.

I am 32 years old male and not having kids. I have hypertension of 140/100. I have got my other tests done like FSH TSH,LH,PRL and others all are normal but my semen analysis report on Feb 1st is attached, could you please check and let me know if there is any problem. I am trying for kids from past 1.5 years but no luck, taking fertisure tablet as well and going for regular exercise with protein intake. We have sex atleast 3 times in a week especially during ovulation time. 5 days after period until 5 days before next period. She gets her periods on time. Please help!!
Male | 32
Your sperm counts are low. Sperm have trouble moving. These issues make having kids very difficult. Many things can cause low sperm count and poor sperm movement. Sometimes it is due to hormone problems or genetics. Lifestyle choices may also affect sperm. You should speak to a fertility doctor about your results. They can suggest treatments that may help. The doctor can also recommend lifestyle changes for better sperm health. This could improve your odds of having a baby.

My penis skins in a small are is peeling off and white flesh are visible. Feeling irritation. Can't figure out what is happening.
Male | 29
Maybe you have balanitis. That's when the skin on the penis gets irritated. Some reasons are bad hygiene, harsh soap or chemicals, or infection by fungus or bacteria. To help, gently wash with mild soap and warm water. Keep it dry. Don't use anything harsh down there. See a urologist if it doesn't get better.

I am 27 . My foreskin is closing up . I don’t know why
Male | 27
You may have phimosis, a condition where the foreskin cannot be retracted because it is too tight. However, you will need to consult a urologist for an evaluation and discussion of treatment options including steroid creams as well as circumcision. To avoid disturbance and possible complications, this condition should not be overlooked.

is test urine test with negative urobilinogen normal
Female | 51
A negative urobilinogen result from a urine test indicates an absence of bilirubin breakdown products. It's often normal if you don't experience symptoms like yellowing skin or eyes. However, discussing the result with a urologist is advisable to ensure everything is fine. Typically, a negative urobilinogen reading alone isn't concerning unless accompanied by other worrying signs.

When to worry about creatinine levels in urine
Creatinine level is usually seen in blood. Creatinine level in urine doesn’t have much significance. Generally if your blood creatinine levels are above 1.5 mg/dl then you should see a nephrologist.

Hello Doctor I am 47 years old male and I have problem with low sperms and my semen analysis report says - sections from both sides show occasional seminiferous tubules(<5) with absence of spermatogenesis. Please tell me what is this issue and how to cure it. Thank you Regards, Fahim
Male | 47
Your situation may involve nonobstructive azoospermia. This condition prevents sperm production in the testicles. You might experience difficulty conceiving children. Hormonal issues could also arise. To address this challenge, doctors will evaluate you thoroughly. Treatments like hormone therapy or reproductive assistance may help.

I was tired after studying for many hours, I don't know when and how I fell asleep. I was sleeping in a very weird position (on side), I pressed my legs against each other and my hand between them without knowing and they were on one of the testicle which led to stoppage of blood supply in one testicle (maybe that happened), I woke up after 3 or 3.5 hours, moved my legs and felt so much pain in the one testicle and after that I think the blood supply started again and pain went away slowly. This happened yesterday and there is no pain in that area now. I'm scared, should I get checked? Please reply fast as I'm panicking right now.
Male | 19
When testicles lose blood supply, it results in severe discomfort. For you, it seems moving relieved pressure, restoring flow. Monitor for any lingering aches or changes, but you should recover fully now. However, if concerns arise, don't delay reaching out to a urologist.

Iam Chiranjit Choudhury my father Jitendra Choudhury have a problem he was suffering PUNLMP and my surgeon told me the malignant polyp was removed from the bladder in last 21st June, and now there was no any problem but September third week we need a check cystosocpy to check there was any repeat or not if repeat then the treatment was needed but now no need to any treatment. So I need to know this is this okay or there was something wrong. And where is the best for me to treatment my father due to we are from lower middleclass family. So I request you please suggest us which was good for me, and is this the right treatment was running or not.
Male | 62
PUNLMP is an acronym for Papillary Urothelial Neoplasm of Low Malignant Potential. This is a non-cancerous growth in the bladder that, however, may become cancerous. The ideal next step to take is to follow your surgeon's recommendation for a cystoscopy in September. This procedure will aid in observing the bladder for any changes. This check-up is the first step in catching any problems that may arise early. Be mindful, that early discovery plays a significant role in the success of such situations.

having pain in left testes
Male | 19
Pain in your left testicle can be concerning but don’t worry. It could be caused by an injury, infection, or a condition called varicocele (swollen veins). Symptoms might include swelling, tenderness, or a dull ache. To ease the pain, wear supportive underwear, use a cold pack, and rest. If the pain doesn’t go away, see a urologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

For the past 2 years, your wife has been dealing with urine infections, causing discomfort like burning during urination, frequent bathroom trips, and cloudy, smelly urine. Enuresis, a condition where one can't control their bladder during sleep could be the reason. It can occur due to infections or stress. The back pain and stomach issues could be connected. Your nursing studies make it all the more important to get help from a doctor to determine the exact cause and the best treatment, especially if you are in doubt. Be sure to tell your doctor everything and explain to your parents why it is important for you to keep taking your medicine.

You may be having a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs are painful when you pee. A person may need to take medication for a few months or there is a chance, that he will be infected again. It is crucial to drink water and to not hold your pee. Clinical examination to see the possibility of prescribing antibiotics that will clear the infection and prevent it from coming back can also be discussed with a urologist.

I am having hematuria since last night . Iam diagnosed with kidney stone last year . Is hematuria due to kidney stone but I am not experiencing any pain .
Female | 20
Hematuria, the existence of blood in urination, can occur in the presence of kidney stones. The presence of blood could mean that the stone is being moved or continues to cause some discomfort, even if you don't feel pain. Other symptoms include back or side pain, frequent urination, or cloudy urine in the case of kidney stones. The most effective way to prevent stones from passing through is by taking a lot of water, but if you are still bleeding or have more symptoms, visit a urologist.
