It is not acne. Its bacterial infection. You need to apply Antibiotic ointment to it. To prevent frequent infections, you should go for laser hair removal. it will keep the area clean and hygienic.

I got acne on whole face first there is pimple and it convert into mark or acne . Or having white spot ,uneven tone the texture is very bad like hyperpigmentation.
Female | 23
Pimples occur when oil and dead skin cells block hair follicles thus leading to a condition called acne. The marks are usually a result of inflammation in the skin. Instances that can be white spots and not consistent in color are marks of hyperpigmentation. Be gentle to your skin, do not pick your skin, and use products with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.

Does Sulfamethoxazole-Trimethoprim cure Chlamydia?
Male | 19
Sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim also recognized as Bactrim is not usually used in treating chlamydia. This is because it is a bacteria that spreads through intimate contact. This may lead to painful urination, unusual discharge, and sometimes no signs at all. Normally, antibiotics such as azithromycin or doxycycline are used to cure chlamydia. If you suspect that you have the disease, it is important to get tested and treated so as to avoid any further complications.

Hello doctor, I am 36 years old male and I have had mycosis fungoides for around 3-4 years. My staging concluded as 1A. I have not received any systemic chemotherapy, I have received only topical treatment with clobetasol and bexarotene creams and now my patches are mostly gone. I haven't had serious new patches in more than a year. I am about to get married and start a family. And my question is, can I have kids while having mycosis fungoides ? Would it increase the chances of my kids to have MF ?
Male | 36
Yes, you can have kids with mycosis fungoides. However, it is advised to discuss your plans with your dermatologist who can help guide you through the process. While there is no known risk of your children developing mycosis fungoides, it is important to monitor your children for any skin changes and to seek medical attention if any concerns arise.

If i am using it should i use it daily or 5 times a weak
Male | 19
At this age, hair fall and thinning can be upsetting. These problems can be due to various factors like heredity, stress, diet, or hormonal changes. Minoxidil and finasteride are commonly used together to stop hair loss and promote hair growth. It is best to visit a dermatologist to know how often to use them. Starting the treatment is the first step to improving your hair condition, but you should also be patient and wait for some time to see the results.

Hi Doc , I have noticed some smal red dots in my penis . What could be?
Male | 46
Sometimes dots appear on the penis, but don't panic. Maybe they're irritated follicles or small blood vessels. They could also signal eczema or a fungal infection. If you feel pain, itchiness, burning, or the dots persist, talk to a dermatologist. They'll identify the cause and recommend treatment. .

Hello , I'm facing diffuse thinning in my hair for the past one year my temples are so thin and my crown is also thin and overall volume of the hair is low I've been taking minoxidil for 3months I haven't seen any results how long does it take and should I start taking finasteride
Male | 18
Thinning hair can be due to several factors such as genetics, hormonal changes, and health conditions. Minoxidil takes around four to six months to start working so be patient. If you are thinking of using finasteride, it is a good idea to talk to your dermatologist first and find out if it is the right option for you.

Remove skin tags near the eye area around three tags
Female | 61
Skin tags are little bumps on the skin. They sometimes appear by the eyes. Many things can make them grow, like rubbing or hormones. If a skin tag bothers you, bleeds or hurts, a dermatologist can remove it safely. They'll take it off quickly and easily. Don't worry! Skin tags aren't dangerous.

Small Nodule on eyebrow
Male | 3 month
A tiny bump near your eyebrow is probably a cyst or a skin tag, which are common and not usually a concern. They can form from a clogged oil gland or a blocked hair follicle. If it’s not bothering you, it’s okay to leave it alone. However, if it grows bigger, changes color, or starts hurting, it’s best to have it checked out.

I am 27 years old female I have pimples on the face I have applied many cream and soaps which are not working fr my skin what to do naw? Can u suggest me cream and soap / face wash which is good. Fr daily use without side effects
Female | 27
I suggest a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser such as a mild gel face wash containing salicylic acid which can help treat breakouts. Try out oil-free moisturizers for moisturizing. Let go of the use of harsh scrubs and put sunscreen on top of your list during the day. After trying the over-the-counter methods for two to three weeks and not getting any results, ask for suggestions from a dermatologist who can customize a solution.

My name is Shankar Dayal Gupta I am 55 years old. For the past four-five months there is something round like a ulcer on the left side of my mouth. The area in which it occurred That place got tight and I am not feeling any pain and I am not facing any problem in eating. But I am very tensed after seeing the ulcer I don't understand anything what happened
Male | 55
The round ulcer on the left side of your mouth might be due to a lot of reasons, like biting your cheek accidentally or a viral infection. Since you are not feeling any pain or eating difficulty, it seems to be a minor issue. You can try swishing your mouth with warm salt water or avoiding spicy and hot foods for a couple of days and see if it helps. If it doesn't go away after a week or two, it's best to have it checked by a dentist to be safe.

I have vitiligo seens 13years.my age is 25.what ointment or medicine should I take?
Female | 25
Vitiligo is a condition where white spots show up on skin. It occurs when pigment-producing cells malfunction. No cure exists, but treatments aid. Topical steroids or calcineurin inhibitors work best. They restore some color to affected areas. Sun protection is crucial, as exposure worsens symptoms.

I have Whitehead on my full face including eyebrows since last 2 years I feel iching on my face Hair of my eyebrows are sheding I feel like something is crawling on my face
Female | 39
You might be suffering from a condition called demodex infestation. Demodex is a type of tiny mite that settle on the face's hair follicles and oil glands. Typical symptoms include itching, hair loss from the eyebrows, and a crawling sensation on the skin. You may choose to use medicated creams or shampoos prescribed by a dermatologist in response to this. Your face must be cleaned regularly and also steer clear of greasy products.

Hi my name is farhin begum.i am from india.i have acne scars on my face since 1yr.i was very tense about those scars.please suggest me any cream.i hav gone through so many dermatologist they suggest me for laser treatment bt i dont want to go through that procedure..
Female | 21
Worrying over acne scars is common, yet solutions exist. Scars form when skin sustains damage during breakouts. Creams with retinoids or vitamin C can gradually fade scars. Consistency is key; visible improvement takes weeks. Clean, moisturized skin is crucial too. Before starting any new treatment, consulting a dermatologist is wise to ensure the safety of your complexion.

Female | 22
This could be caused either by dry skin, irritation, or even an infection. But don't worry, applying a gentle moisturizer will help you to keep your skin hydrated. Avoid using your fingers to scratch or pick at the area. If it doesn't improve, consult a dermatologist for further advice.

Mam I am getting tiny little bumps on my cheek area
Female | 07/07/2004
These small bumps on your cheeks may be acne. Acne develops when the hair follicles are clogged with oil and dead skin. It is commonly seen during puberty and when hormonal changes occur. You should wash your face gently with a mild cleanser and let the bumps be. If it bothers you so much, it is recommended that you see a dermatologist for further advice.

Ring worm infection all over the body.
Male | 15
Ringworm isn't from worms, it's a funky fungus skin infection. Scattered red, scaly, itchy patches appear on your body. See a dermatologist for antifungal cream or pill treatment. Keep skin clean, and dry to prevent spreading. Don't share personal items - that's how it travels.

I am somdatta I am 19 years old I have a swollen ball in genital since few months I feel it is not a boil it is a skin swelling inside sometimes it doesn't go round and sometimes it swells up and it hurts a lot.
Female | 19
You may have a condition known as an inguinal hernia, which happens when a part of your insides protrudes through a weak spot in your groin muscles. It can happen like this: first, there is some swelling that appears to be a bump in your genital area that may go away or spontaneously revive and get painful. A dermatologist should be consulted to examine it and discuss therapy alternatives that can encompass surgical hernia repair.

Hi doctor, I have a problem with my ear. Every month, it starts to develop inside pimples which cause pain. This issue continues on and off every month.
Male | 24
Your ear issue might involve pimples causing pain. This could signify otitis externa, an ear canal infection. It happens when water gets trapped, or you use objects for cleaning your ears, or due to skin issues. To ease discomfort and prevent more pimples, keep ears dry, avoid inserting things inside, and consider antibiotic ear drops from a doctor. If troubles persist, promptly consult a dermatologist.
